We were the better side for much of the game. Marcus missed a good chance before Nacho converted. Performance was superb at times.

If Ten Hag hadn’t brought Sancho on we most likely would have won it in 5 pens. Reminds me of Ole keeping De Gea for Europa League 2021 final when he is rubbish at saving pens.

Rashford missed two great chances.

Man City were shocking for most of the game and were relying on Man Utd missing to keep in the game and basically scored with only shot on target in the game.😂

If Zirkzee is a backup then with Hojlund out for a while we should be all over a recognised CF, can't go into another season with so many chances going begging. Time to cut our losses on Sancho and if possible, maybe not this window, but Marcus too! Had enough of both of them.

Like to see McT and Sancho gone this window. Casemiro has redeemed himself to a certain degree during pre season and this game.

I'm more positive about next Friday than I was before the game anyway. We played okay and actually posed a real threat in open play which is rare from us.

Hopefully we can start well next week. We really need to after last season.

Shame we lost but those are the breaks.

Win on Friday and it'll be forgotten about. We need to start the season on a positive note.

Big few weeks transfer wise. If we can get a MF or two then I don't think we could have realistically asked for much more really.

Casemiro was decent today though to be fair.
