Sterling or Toney?

I agree with all that OP. I rate Rasmus, and Zirkzee looks promising, and they are different from each other which is a plus.
Sorry Robb. I wouldn't sign anyone else this window, let's see how the ones we have bought do.

Agree with everything, we shouldn't sign either players as it will hurt the progress of our young players.

Let Juve take Sancho and get a fee for him, a swap for sterling doesn't help us much at all.

If I was a united fan I wouldn’t want either

Toney made sense before zirkzee but not now …..Toney is a better player right now but who knows how good zirkzee could be but I rate rasmus , he will be an excellent player for you guys

Sterling is past it….declining at the very least and his wages are obscene

Let Chelsea be buried by their mistakes

Why not both considering you're exempt from PSR?

If it has to be between Sterling and Toney, and we can’t pick anyone else, I’d choose Antonee Robinson.

Sterling for sure.

Because they aren't good enough. Sterling may suit yourselves, you pushed the boat out not long ago when you signed him.

We bought him 9 years ago when he was at his peak and got rid of him (for the same money) when he started to decline.

Wouldn’t want either player

Surely the very fact he played for City rules Sterling out of any Utd convo, no?

Your fans seem interested, personally I don't give a flying fek.

I think Sterling would suit EtH’s football well fwiw.

If you were going to buy Toney, it should have been instead of Hojlund last year.

Yeah we’ve made our bed with the striker position for now.

If we want to improve the attack it has to be from the wide areas. Rashford, Antony, Garnacho and Amad just isn’t good enough, unless they all massively improve their form out of nowhere.

Under no circumstance should we buy either.

Sterling is in decline and Robbsie is touting Toney, and that should scare Jim and his team well away.

posted on 28/8/24

Neither really, we’ve just bought Zirkzee, and have Hojlund. If I had to choose, Toney probably.

Toney because he’s a good player, but we just signed Zirkzee.

Whilst Sterling plays a position we severely lack quality, he also lacks quality:

Toney if I had to, but would prefer we didn't buy any of them.

Toney would certainly be a gamble, but he'd be up for it

None?

posted on 28/8/24

I'd have gone for Toney before we signed Zirkzee. But since we didn't and got the Dutchman instead, that move seems pointless now unless Hojlund's injury is worse than feared of course. We haven't heard that it is though.

Sterling is an easy one. Absolutely no chance. He's on his way down, wages are massive and he's no more consistent than the players we have. He's so so poor in front of goal. We should know as we won a few Manchester derbies we probably shouldn't have done thanks to his awful finishing.

Agree with the second part. Not sure about Sterling. Never fully convinced me in front of goal.
