Come on Leeds show us a picture of MC Hammer to get us excited
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The club has said, no more business
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a joke pal
3 players bought with zero experience playing in the English leagues.
Obviously hoping it will work out but it's a huge gamble and adapting to the Championship will take time.
Lacked a statement signing but should still have enough to be champions. Im a bit gutted but more angry that the 49ers seem to be risking promotion.

I see that Tyler Roberts has gone to Northampton!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Got to wonder what Roberts' level is, 20 something goals in 200 league appearances. Never seems to happen for him. Yet to score for Birmingham, probably Northampton is his last chance of a reset.
Alexa, show me a transfer window that is distinctly underwhelming and where the owners made a shed load of money.
I remember us buying Klich and Alioski. Both cheap and both never heard of. Both no U.K. experience.
It’s not always about huge fees. We’ve paid them on occasions and got dross.
Maybe with all the money we’ve brought in we can start the redevelopment of Elland Road. Start with a new Kop behind the existing, that will create enough room for a decent South Stand.
Should be the 800lb bully in this league with a chance of walking it back into Prem. But, nope not us. Let's peg
ourselves back to the field. Pretty laughable as a window. One like the last that was like the one before that. Really shocking in a way. Completely on brand in another. Hope the 49ers aren't popping the champagne tonight.
If the league is as bad as some say then we should be okay.
Not the strengthening I was hoping for but at least we have a respectable squad size now.
Bunch of reactionary silliness in here. The window has been fine. Outgoings been more than they expected, but the replacements are perfectly fine.
----------------Meslier
Bogle---Rodon----Struijk---Firpo
----------Ampadu--Tanaka
Gnonto-----Aaronsson----Ramazani
-----------------Joseph
This side should be comfortably good enough to compete for the top two.
------------------Darlow
Byram---Debayo--Wober--Schmidt
-----------Gruev----Rothwell
James--------Piroe---------Solomon
-----------------Bamford
Debayo aside that secondary line-up is perfectly fine. Probably competes for the play-offs, at least, and James, Gruev, Schmidt, Solomon and Wober are all quality back-up. Piroe is too but not the greatest fit. Yes, a 10 would have been nice, but think its been fine, really.
What will we end up with?
^^^
To answer my original question: not what we hoped for
Oh one can only hope.
Sometimes I pretend not to like football at all.
And that it doesn't matter, if Leeds win or lose. It's just a game after all.
it's just as successful as pretending the beer in the fridge is not tempting
Not as bad a window as some are making out.
But the fact Bamford can still get anywhere near a shirt in 2024 really is a joke.

But how much of that money is owed to other teams for past transfers? I seem to recall quite a lot.
I’m sure we won’t fall foul of PSR now but how much surplus we have is anyones guess.

Looks good on Paper. Would have liked another striker really but I think a few goals from others will be a big plus this season. We relied too much on Cree last season. Let’s spread the goals!

The owners haven't made any money. That's not how owning a company works. The company which is the club have made the money.
Too many fans think that this transfer incoming is going on new carpets at Paraag's house. It's not how it works.

Don't think the club was ever signing a new striker whilst they still have Bamford and Piroe on sizeable wages.
