You know this is all Rangers fault at the end of the day. If we had ONE team we had to at least try and defend against in the league we might not keep forgetting how to do it.

Away to Atalanta next??

Could be a similar score to be honest, they are no mugs like, cannie be any worse though surely

It might be wildly wrong, but I’d hope the way Italian clubs play that at a slower pace might mean we are less exposed by mistakes.

Well looks like we avoided a record defeat

Kasper and Maeda probably the only ones to get pass marks. Hatate did well when he came on.

Lot of work for Rodgers and the players before the next game.

Playing teams like this, away,in the CL,only one result really. We’re nowhere near good enough for this level.

Sam Lammers scores at Old Trafford last week

There's Abdullah Sima score a brace tonight and now has 3 Champions League goals to his name

Unreal

Two positives.
Brilliant wum. Go down 5-1 by ht. get all the bears out of bed. Only to disappoint by keeping their record in tact.

I think around 25mins even Greg Taylor realised he wasn’t cut out for this. (Disclaimer: not convinced Valle is the answer).

7 conceded and the keeper is getting passmarks? should it have been 20?

yeah but Rodgers got a shiny new record according to the beeb

"Brendan Rodgers is the only manager to witness his team concede seven goals in a Champions League game more than once."

Can’t comment on the game tonight, but scorelines like that are always possible (even likely) with THAT starting defence. Had already expressed concerns that Valle looks worryingly like Bernabei Mk2. Trusty might be another beaut added to our recent conveyor belt of CB haddies, albeit a more expensive one.

Fed up conceding 7 goals in europe and the cvnt never learns.

Play our own game, fvcking nuts.

Elite manager who thinks we can play the same way against european finalists as we do against st johnstone.

Keep it tight, try and hit on break away from home, look at their strengths and weaknesses. Its a brass neck that we give players with that much pace and power such space to exploit.

Mind blowing when he came back that people thought he was going to take us further in europe, completely ignoring how bad he was the first time

There were fundamental issues here. Celtic have set up away against Borussia Dortmund as they did at the weekend against St Johnstone, expecting to have the same kind of control. That was never going to happen.

They were a soft touch. They don't seem to have learned anything. These are monumental hidings that Brendan Rodgers has overseen. They are not getting any better in Europe. They are naive to go and play that way.

So glad I didn’t go and so glad I turned over at half time.

So glad I’m going nowhere near Atalanta or Villa either. Both look horrendous games.

My boys are desperate to go and they are welcome to the tickets.

Also saves me a few grand as well.

You know what is interesting though with this new super league format, none of this actually matters. Can lose 100-0 against the good teams and still remain in the competition by beating the crap teams at home. Don't need to be the level of a pot 2 team in the old CL to not go out.
