Unless the BBC arent counting the Conference League as "major"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/c89leed1eyjt

3rd one of the match stats at the bottom
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The cup winners cup wouldn’t have counted as a major European trophy either using that barometer.

Europa league is the old UEFA Cup.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Take it up with the beeb mate...its their stat......the lying bastirts

have to wonder how many good managers we have had over the years, who can change the setup and not just play one way all the time.

i loved ange, but he's not capable of that.

Lennon - he setup better in europe for sure, but not a tactical genius by any stretch of the imagination.

o'neil? think robertson was important to him, fell to bits when he retired.

strachan - maybe.

MON also lucked out inheriting prime Henrik … and Petrov. Loved his time at the helm, but that was a huge factor.

Having spent a few days in Germany and had the misfortune of meeting him and observing his behaviour, i'm somewhat sad to confirm that our latest 'celebrity fan' Peter Schmeichel is an absolute warmer and a total phoney.
Rarely seen anyone so far up his own erse and with such total disregard for fans. Contrast with Jim Craig, Murdo McLeod, Roy Aitken and others i met. All first class gentlemen.

MON was also given much more money than any Celtic manager before him. Strachan spent his time "downsizing" to compensate and still had good success, albeit less entertaining.

posted on 3/10/24

strachan was big on favourites as well though.

Donati and Graveson not getting a look in under him. I understand graveson was hard to manage but you find a way to fit that quality into the team.

he managed to ignore that naka couldn't defend for schit.

Just being a d!ck in general. For example, one guy came over and quite politely asked for a selfie only to be told that he'd already had an autograph and that was 'enough'. Loads of stuff like that. Posed for a few photos but deliberately looked totally miserable. All unnecessary stuff.
