No, he isn't. This is why you got a freekick, although I wouldn't call any of it a kick and certainly not an elbow. However you can't just decide offences are red cards. They actually have to follow the laws of the game.

I also think the keeper doesn't go in 100% after the whistle has gone. Arsenal are playing on 100% and a few Liverpool players have already stopped or not put in 100% effort knowing the whistle has gone.

My surprise is this is the talking point for Arsenal fans and not the Konate penalty shout.

Even if you don't think it's a foul, if the ref doesn't blow his whistle then our players don't stop.

VVD literally doesn't move after Havertz shoots because he heard the whistle.

To be fair this works for them as it's what they always do, even against lesser teams. They get the lead then sit in and make it difficult, having a threat on the counter. We've been more towards that this season than going for the kill at all times. Nearly worked against City even with ten men and then nearly worked against Liverpool.

Yeah that wasn't a freekick for me and I'd still love to see a better angle of the 'onside' with lines but accept if they didn't have it then they have to give it.

We sat back against city as we were down to ten men.

We sat back today as Liverpool were getting every 50-50. No point wasting energy. Unfortunately we picked up two injuries in defence and Liverpool capitalised.

I think don't think with the injuries we had we were able to match you fully. Maybe we were too submissive but it's a fairly understandable approach

Maybe if there was 10-15 mins to go? But from what I saw it was most of the 2nd half. These tactics don't regularly win you championships and you're already a bit behind City so imo it was terrible management

We were largely the better team in the first half, tried to impose ourselves in the 2nd but every 50-50 went to them in this period.
