Shaun of the dead.
If Poch wants the England job just give it him. Losergate has had so many chances.
Bringing on Sterling and Mount was a huge mistake and a pussio move. Fook him.
Mount especially. If there's one player who's not going to make an impact in a game like that..
Yeah bizarre decisions, should have been Rashford to add some directness and we got the two very predictable players instead, whilst taking off our biggest threat.
And he brought Grealish on with a minute left. Disgraceful. No ump. Play safe. Always play safe.
Such a plant pot.
Can sumbody pls imform DJ on live thred that Vittorio Pozzo won back to back world cups in 1934-38

Wasn't there like 6 teams in the world cup back then and you had to smoke a cigarette before kickoff?

I'm not happy with the 'unlucky manager' narrative. At some point you have to acknowledge his responsibility. Or at least put it on the whole team that they didn't do enough. Going to pens/relying on a pen to get a result means you didn't do enough in the rest of the game.
re: replacing Gareth. No, we shouldn't have whoever will take it. Which is what we have now tbf.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yet you’re not taking into account these are the best squads. France are reigning world champions and are likely to retain it.
Also Southgate isn’t someone “whoever” he was being groomed for the job he just got it early due to fat Sam facking up.
Luck plays such a significant part in international football tournaments. More than almost any other sporting competition.

Plus he is perfect for the FA. Ticks all their boxes. They don't want a winner. They want a lapdog.
Southgate is a whoever in terms of who else was there that they were grooming? Obviously he's not a random bloke off the street but he's got the job more by default than by merit. Classic jobs for the boys stuff.
Not really he was the under 21 manager who they clearly wanted to take over when the current crop of youngsters was stepping up.
I’d say what ever happened he would’ve been in charge for the last euros regardless.
Anyway I’d rather he stayed England manager because I fear if he isn’t levy will see him as a viable option for us
