For sports I think Phelps deserves a mention.. ok it's easy to get a lot of medals in swimming but he's got the most ever..

Yeah fair point.
That list was done in 2005 though. There's definitely names missing from their 100.
Would need to have a think.
it's shameful that whitney didn't make the top 100
that's just a fkn joke
Considering Ellen was on the list I think I'm offended also
I'd settle for whitney being the most gifted.
Pulisic, the LeBron James of Soccerball
In terms of sports for pure sporting reasons it has to be Phelps.
However I think for the whole package of Sports + Social stuff etc it would be Woods or Ali.
I think the top 10 have to be top of their field + influence in other fields/social change/philanthropy etc
He's not likable fashionable but (not sports obvs) going by that criteria Bill Gates is a standout

how do we know how talented he was though?
same with jobs and musk?
i could show you....it doesn't matter.
I wouldn't make a case for Bill Gates being musically gifted but talents come in many forms. And I think he did alright for himself
Possibly but Epstein association has big question marks over him
I was thinking the likes of Eartha Kitt, Muhammed Ali (as stated before), even the likes of Jon Stewart, Robin Williams, etc
The fact he's given away vast chunks of his fortune, well not just given away but actually dedicated it to curing disease around the world.. like I say not likeable or whatever but his impact on the world is tough to ignore
Oh you're just going by nicest Edin?
How did you come to that conclusion?

Robin Williams?

Are you aware of his career?
Like are we saying my favourite American or best in measurable terms?

I never said it did, I do think the potential around p*dophilia probably knocks you down a peg or two. Unless you have Jimmy Sav as one of the greatest Brits?
Wow you went full Hitler already
