I said yes, I think the last few weeks we needed him as he is 4th choice stater ahead of Moore.

However I doubt there is another moment this season where we need to give our 4th choice LW starting minutes and I’d rather Moore gets his bench minutes for his development and he is probably more likely to create or score a goal

Yeah you can say Werner has been ok except for his end product but that isnt enough to warrant a guy just being here on loan as 4th choice on a high wage taking up a foreign player spot

it was a big mistake keeping him in the first place

Yeah I'd rather take the risk that we wont have that level of injuries in that specific area again

next 3 PL game should be winnable and if that happens will be huge for us

need to really give the two claret clubs revenge on last seasons fixtures

I think the signing of him, whilst really early in the window, was under the expectation we would be signing a top class winger. Which is why it made more sense.

Also there was no indication of what the overall outs & ins would be at that point of the transfer window.

It wasn’t expected that Spence would be a legitimate option, for example. So the Europa league consequences weren’t really known - although it was still a risk at the time of signing

Maybe but he’s shiet and I didn’t want him.

Plus there was so many wingers around to go get last summer if we really went for it. Just disappointing

In the 4231 it’s largely cos Dembele was missing. In the 523 Dier was the right CB with Wanyama in midfield
