Never really got into J.Coles FHD. Something about him just doesn't connect with me.

dont know what your background is but 03 adolescence speaks to me on so many levels...the whole production of G.O.M.D is amazing and tbh only track i dont like is st tropez

I think we need to break down what is meant by lyrical, if we can agree on that then an objective discussion on who the most lyrical is may be possible.

worldplay and use of different lexicon while making sense and telling a story?

danny brown.......
Im done
I like danny brown but he's barely top 10
J Cole is 4th ASAP 5th Badass 6th
drakes mixtape/album last year was fire but not for lyrical content
Yeah Drake can be left out the convo, he's a good rapper but not a lyricist.
I quite like chance...but his flow is one of the "wackest" ive heard
His flow is good different for me. Dont really understand him most of the time though
Badass has the potential but he hasn't come through really with a lyrical beast of a track so far
love how j.cole can tell a story and make a catchy tune of his own production. classic
Sideline story wasn't any good for me but born sinner and hills drive i loved
If anyone hasnt seen j.cole on letterman it should be on your top 5 things to do as a hip hop fan
Kendrick Lamar untitled 2 on jimmy fallon

cant get enough, mainstream but a tune, dollar and a dream, good intro song, lights please although off FNL was classic, in the morning also of FNL classic, lost ones was a classic and deep tune, man sideline story
he would be a better rapper i think if he didnt produce his own music
he won't be able to make a body of work like good kid maad city if he's producing everything.
on the contrary I think it supports where hes coming from when he makes a tune
neither will most people though benny, I still prefer FHD to GKMC and GKMC is one of my favs
Man I miss the 00's, T.I, Fab, Luda, jumping on features and smashing tunes...add busta rhymes, eminem, nate dogg etc...man
