If he was a proper wizard he'd be able to do more than 3 different facial expressions throughout 8 films, instead of just looking like Dumbledore was molesting him off camera.

Dumbledore when he died was a sad day for the film world

I think it is more about how Mancini will try to stop us. Ferguson will almost certainly go 442 with Carrick and Scholes, so Mancini will have to think about how to stop those two controlling the game.

The important thing for us, in my opinion, is to score when if we get early chances. Both CL finals against Barca and the reverse leg to City are great examples of what might happen if we don't.

We dominated the opening stages of those games but didn't score, the opposition came back and were able to get in control.

Against City in January, we scored early, and albeit with help from Kompany going off we dominated the first half.

On the bright side, a win at Everton would make me comfortable with a draw against City, which is far from impossible.

Tevez does worry me though.

I can gurantee we won't be going into that game with the intention of 'stopping' you from playing.

posted on 16/4/12

how can you "gurantee" that then?

Because first of all we need three points from it.

And secondly this isn't the City of old, we play on our terms at home.

right.

So you think we will set up with our primary aim of stopping Scholes and Carrick from dictating the midfield? Don't think so, De Jong or Barry might be under instruction not to give Scholes much time on the ball, but Mancini will want our midfield to dictate the game, and at home, they are more than capable of it.

If you don't press Scholes and Carrick they will dictate the midfield.

I make the point that Mancini will have to be more picky with his formation simply because Sir Alex always picks the same one. Mancini will have to choose between a few formations that he can use.

Why is everyone worried about Tevez? I am far more worried about Aguero, Silva and Richards bombing at poor old Patrice

lets hope its a strong ref.

More fool you then Gregory.

Better sides dictate the style of play, they don't go out to 'stop' other sides from playing.

Although we are yet to achieve that on the road, Stoke away for example we were suckered into playing their game, at home we have been impecible.

haven't you lost against Liverpool and the Premier League Champions at wastelands this season? Didn't you also draw to Sunderland not to long ago?

posted on 16/4/12

Oh yes I forgot about those three games where we were absolutely shafted up the backside and humiliated on our own turf...

Three times we've dropped points/lost games at home this season, and it's taken a penalty, a red card, and some terrible defending to do it.

Didn't lose a game at home last season either.

posted on 16/4/12

yea you lost a couple at etihad last season, i remember arsenal beating you 3-0 i think.

and i remember you parking the bus against us in the 0-0 borefest

I mean we didn't lose at home last year, in 2011, I'm not chatting out my aris, we're a tough fixture to go to. If we have any ambition to fight for this title to the death, then we won't be merely looking to 'stop' you playing.

posted on 17/4/12

you said you didn't lose a game last SEASON. You didn't say year take it you forgot about the Arsenal thrashing

posted on 17/4/12

Shoot me in the face for saying season instead of year then.

Another game we were down to 10 men about 10mins in. Just saying, takes a fair bit to put us down at home these days, you don't have to cry about it just because you were outwitted by the mighty Blackburn.

And yet United are 5 points clear of the unbeatable City and in a position to win the league in your own backyard, dispite losing the best defender in the world and having to bring in a new GK. Not bad really is it?

posted on 17/4/12

Only your fans think Vidic is the best defender in the world and why should a GK that cost a record transfer fee be looked at as a disadvantage, it was no surprise that VDS was retiring so you went out and and bought a goalkeeper who cost more than the entire Norwich team.

posted on 17/4/12

Haha Vidic IS the best defender in the world! Who is better in your opinion?

Savic
