Wesley Fofana must REJECT a move to Chelsea and stay at Leicester, warns former Blues captain Frank Leboeuf
I guess the worry for Colwill (and us if we care about his development) is game time. I can easily see him being 3rd choice LCB behind Cucurella and Koulibaly. Even with our high number of games, a 6th choice CB can end up with minimal minutes depending on how the manager rotates.
#Chelsea are in talks with RB Leipzig over a move for Timo Werner on loan but would have to cover a portion of his wages or ask him to reduce his salary. His relationship with Thomas Tuchel has deteriorated in pre-season.

Can I ask what's the big deal about Fofana ? I didn't even know who he was before we were linked with him.
If Colwill wasn't a Chelsea player we'd probably be offering 50 million for him this window lol

Really? You never seen him play for Leicester?
He's good but raw, only 21 I think. So 80 odd million is somewhat a risk

Nope never seen him play. His PL experience is minimal checking on FF. What's so special about him that we'd be willing to pay 80 million ?
Colwill to Brighton is good for his development, should get game time. Play a good style under Potter as well.
I don't see him featuring much for us this season.

Don't think we're willing to pay that much, it's what Leicester are asking because he's just signed a contract extension.
He's tipped to be one of the best CBs in the world in the future

As long as we'd be able to bring him back whenever we want (either loan or buyback) and as long as he's going to actually play then I'm good with him going there.
Just seen a controversial opinion I agree with:
RLC fits our current system much better than Gallagher (can play in the pivot or RWB) and letting him go will leave us light in midfield (despite having Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic and Gallagher).
One of my fears for this season is that for all his potential, Gallagher will be wasted in a deeper role and end up becoming a bit part player. We either need to play a 3-5-2 (and therefore sell about 3 more attackers) or change to a 4atb (and buy a DM) in order to accommodate him.

If he's good enough, he'll get his opportunity.
Mount is not going to play every game, he can rotate with him.
There's 5 subs this season, we play over 50 games most seasons. He'll get his chance, may not be in his preferred position but we're not going to change our system for him

Loftus-Cheek leaving definitely doesn't help our cause and his versatility and ability to play RWB is a huge bonus.
If Tuchel plays Gallagher too deep then more fool him as you feel that Gallagher played in the right position is going to bring a lot to the table in terms of attacking impetus and goals.
