Literally everyone else is talking about what an improvement we've made this season and that we're going to be a threat next season.

The owners reaction to that is let's rock the boat after the first bit of stability in two years and bring in a lesser experienced manager even though the last time we did that with Potter he was like a rabbit in the headlights under the exponentially increased spotlight and pressure at this club.

Poch has clearly shown that he's not affected by the pressure and rose to the occasion against the odds making us finish in a respectable position.

It's been a rocky road this season with peaks and troughs.

On balance i'd keep Poch but it's no great scandal if the owners think differently.

What matters is the replacement...that's my concern.

Obviously we’re all delighted that these players will get a rest over the Summer. But considering England doesn’t have a fit left back in the squad, it is a slap in the face to Chilwell. And how do you think James is feeling now, when the last 2 games of the season were his chance to prove himself to Southgate.

Chilwell isn’t a fit LB either tho

Hopefully James is pisssed at himself for being a moron and learns. Poch isn’t gonna get him to behave better but maybe Southgate is a better motivator in that regard.

Shaw is in the squad if he counts, probably worse than Chilwell in terms of injuries and games missed.

Trippier and Gomez can play LB too.

Defence is pretty crap and is probably why England can't go all the way

A full pre season for the English trio. Hopefully a few more miss out. Worried about Palmer though. Has been overplayed.

I bet we make a move for Branthwaite once the Euro’s are over.

Can't see him starting for England and Southgate's defensive lineups.

‼️ The 3 possible scenarios :

• 12 month extension triggered
• Board offer an extension beyond 2026
• Poch leaves, parting of ways.

The board will want to avoid the possibility of the head coach’s deal nearing its conclusion whilst they are competing in a major comp (CWC 2025)
