I wonder is his constant failure to sub off useless performances (Sterling Mudryk etc) at half time or even on the hour were a factor...?
My other two bug bears were not being pro active enough when it looked like we might concede...(1st 15 of the second half being a particular weakness) & lack of animation at times...it doesn't look good

The only factor is these owners are fackin morons
The fans wanted him to stay
The players wanted him to stay
Ex players wanted him to stay
Media wasn’t calling for his head
Last month was fantastic we won every game in May
There’s no factor involved other than the owners evidently want to sell our best midfielder Gallagher and want a complete yes man (which they already tried with Potter and was a complete failure)
JT’s just posted something super cryptic too
Saying he’s sad for Poch and Seb and another to leave. And that he hopes we don’t sell or sign any players before we get a new manager in with a smoke emoji
Aka defo gonna sell Gallagher chalobah and others and sign players before a new manager comes in, just to show the club do the signings not the manager
FACKIN KHUNTS MAN
Hate these owner pr!cks
They evidently don’t respect the players either, even Palmer. Look what Poch has done, made him one of the best in the world and first manager to believe in Palmer
So yeh owners don’t even care about Palmer ffs

If Pepe had played him (which bizarrely he didn't) he'd have come through at City....we got incredibly lucky
🚨 😳 Worryingly, the turnover of coaches had led one Chelsea player to ponder if this is what he signed up for.

Few comments on the back of this from fans saying that players should have performed a lot better in earlier matches etc. Think we've all said that

There is speculation that Cesc Fabregas could be a shock contender to take over at Chelsea following the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino. Fabregas has been a guest at the club on a few occasions in recent months.
He took over as caretaker manager at Serie B club Como, and has lead them to promotion to Serie A.
🚨❗️The feeling internally at Chelsea was that not all people at the club were on the same page on confirming Mauricio Pochettino and this is why they parted ways.
(@FabrizioRomano) #CFC
Remember reading this at the time that he had divided opinion on certain members on his appointment. Can't afford to have a similar situation again. They either all agree or disagree .

Oh no and we only have a 7 year contract as leverage on our end, guess we will lose them all.
If we are going to go for a young up coming manager with little experience then id much rather go with cesc, fack it id rather jody morris
cesc would at least be fun,
if we hire mckenna we are doomed from the off
Everything they do is back to front. Kept potter saying trust the process, sacked poch who completely outperformed him despite more injuries…so where’s the process now?

Seems to be following the trend of finding a young manager who can deal with a young squad but also keep up with the current trend of playing exciting yet stable styles, scoring and not conceding as many.
Alonso with Bayern
Amorim with Sporting
Hoeness with Stuttgart
Etc etc.
Seems to be the common theme at the minute. Said last night this next appointment will be make or break for us imo going forward. So nothing will surprise me 😄
I don't think this ownership can recover from such a poor start that the last two years have been.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends very much how we follow on...a lot will depend on if we can build on Europa League (depending on City at the wekeend) and how we do in the league next season etc.
But it will massively depend on who we bring in as manager and who stays or goes. We could go even further backwards.
the ownership is dusted
With tuchel and now poch its clear they cant get on with managers who perform ok.
With potter and lampard its clear when they get a yes man that its the wrong hire completley
They seem to want to be successful but every year they throw out everything and start again
exactly the same thing will happen next season, poch wasnt great, lets not delude ourselves into this BUT, he had the dressing room and he had us improving and there was a good chance we could push on next season and push for trophies and CL qualification.
Gallaghers role with Caicedo really helped things and he looked great at the end of the season ( im his biggest critic ) and Trev was outstanding after coming back from injury.
they will be sold in the summer for profit
James will be next season and we will have to deal with a manager who will unlikely last until xmas

It would be very difficult for me to bet against us going even further backwards. They don't know what they're doing, it's very clear.
If they get this next managerial appointment wrong then there's going to be such a bad feeling and breakdown between fans and ownership. Probably an unrecoverable one.
Who hear has objections to thomas frank, he goes under the radar a bit for me but hes done a brilliant job with brentford, out of all the names hes the only one i can take seriously
