Make that three. I certainly wasn't Poch out a month ago. And from memory there were plenty on here who weren't either. So definitely not a minority of one at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are correct Superb there are plenty of us that have never stated they wanted Poch out this season , i've no idea where this "only me" bollx comes from

---------------------------------------------------------------------
I have no idea tbh, very odd isn't it.

Chelsea have identified a shortlist….

• McKenna (admiration for him)
• Enzo Maresca (discussed)
• Thomas Frank (discussed)
• Sebastian HoeneB (challenging to get)
---------
Amazing shortlist, glad we sacked Poch for these names listed above

The Ipswich one is the one that really makes me laugh

I just don’t get it, he’s managed for 3 years in the championship and has a win rate of like 57%

Basically potter without PL experience

Feel like if it was de zerbi he’d have been appointed already

If that really is our shortlist then these owners can go fck themselves. They can already go fck themselves but they can go fck themselves twice if that's true. Morons.

Btw did I already mention that they can go fck themselves? If not then better just make sure I do it again. Go fck yourselves🖕

If they really like McKenna should of given Poch one more year and seen how McKenna done in the PL next year

We're about to find out. I'm still convinced that our owners asked De Zerbi to quit Brighton with the promise that they would appoint him our manager this summer. So as to avoid his £10 million release clause or whatever it was.

All this being linked to managers like McKenna is surely just distraction so that when we appoint De Zerbi it just looks like something that's happened organically and wasn't prearranged.

That's my take on this anyway. And De Zerbi is starting to look like Pep compared to these names we're being linked with ffs.

I didn’t want De Zerbi over Poch but he seems like the best realistic option remaining. Just glad we’re not paying Brighton.

Amorin would be my first choice.

Who hear has objections to thomas frank, he goes under the radar a bit for me but hes done a brilliant job with brentford, out of all the names hes the only one i can take seriously
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you seen the football they play? Proper hoof ball team. GK taking goal kicks on the half way line and long throws into the box whenever possible. Awful team to watch.

If it is how I suspect then our owners are probably seeing Poch leaving by mutual consent (hence no pay off) and getting De Zerbi on a free (no release clause to pay Brighton) as a masterstroke.

Seeing how this is purely about profit margins for them and the football itself a distant second.

Will probably be at least another week or so before De Zerbi is announced though as obviously our owners wouldn't want to make this look as preplanned as it is. Can't give Brighton grounds for accusing us of tapping up their manager.

Football.London claims that Stuttgart boss Sebastian Hoeness is among the list of managers considered by Chelsea to fill their vacant position.

It is understood that some at Chelsea are ‘big fans’ of the style of play that Hoeness has implemented at Stuttgart. As a result, it led them to finish second in the German top division this season and above third-placed giants Bayern Munich.

The report adds that Hoeness has been compared to Hansi Flick as a coach. The Stuttgart manager likes his sides to counter-press and play with an extremely high backline

Hoeness, 42, has worked wonders in his first full season as Stuttgart manager, clinching runners-up in the league to qualify for the Champions League.

The young German manager oversaw his side score 78 goals in the 34-league game season. They conceded just 39 goals, too

It's just such an unknown. If we get Mckenna for example, he could be brilliant and the best thing since sliced bread for us. Or he could be a shambles. We just don't know 😆
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate, he has feck all experience. In what way does an inexperienced coach work with an inexperienced squad and deliver CL football? I think it would be a huge ask of him and will probably make Poch look like a genius
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's got less experience than Potter....look where that went...UTTERLY RIDICULOUS NOTION

posted on 22/5/24

De Zerbi aint exactly the last word either...granted he has potential but Brighton fell away this season...they were 15 pts behind us

He has had a crack in Europe mind, which may hold him in good stead...& was more than Potter had when appointed

I had to look up who that was...but then I don't follow Championship football

Maresca worked under Pep at Man City and is known for an attacking style of play and not budging on his principles

Not much choice if we pay up his release clause, unless they offer him a new contract with a bigger release clause
