Mr Chelsea...........................How many times have you been on our board today then?

I'm on the Premier League board.

Get over yourself Mr Chelsea... This game could mean the difference of 20-30 million pounds for our club.

Idiot.

Well technically we have received about £100m from player sales since then...Spurs have been punching above their weight, and done it fairly and sensible, for which, I hate to admit, they deserve credit.

Sandro £6m
van der Vaart £8m
Pienaar £3m
Khumalo £1.5m
Parker £6m
Coulibaly £2m

According to this...

http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiership-transfers/tottenham-hotspur-transfers.html

You spent £32 million in 09/10 and a massive £87.2 million the season before
This added to the £26.5 (not £16m) you spent in last two seasons is £150 million.
Arsenal in comparison spent £103 million,

Quite a big difference, and hardly the uneven playing field you try to portray.

DJ - factor in net spend and wages and i'm sure you'd see a very different picture. Fact is our revenue is roughly £70m p.a. less than yours and yet we showed a profit in our last accounts.

Jesus Spaghetti. How much have Arsenal spent since they last won a trophy, £150 million.

==========
Which is a lot less than Spurs have spent since they last won a trophy.

Bayern, we show a profit every year. Accountants are good at their jobs ain't they...
Your first team squad wages are as high as ours. What we pay the youths should not come into a discussion of first teams, should it?

The Arsenal myths

We had the worse start ever to a season lie
We have our worse ever season lie
We never spend any money lie

All complete and utter garbage spouted by supporters to make up for not winning anything for coming up to 8 years now.

Sandy, I think the claim that Spurs do not compete in spending has been disproved here. So I guess you lot are making things up to compensate not winning anything of note in two decades....

You sure about that? I'd be surprised if that were true.

Even if it is, of course it matters - very often kids are transferred with only a nominal fee, wages being the deciding factor. To suggest otherwise is naive.

Anyway. We have £70m less to spend and we're only a point behind you. Not too shabby

I think you will find that Arsenal spending on players and their wages far outstrip anything Spurs have spent since they last won a trophy.

Another myth you lot keep going on about. You have also had the CL trough for the past 15 years, and are on the same level as Spurs now.

The Spurs myths... when everything was going well and "mind the gap" was your motto...

Redknapp is the best manager around.
Spurs have a great squad, far better than Arsenals
Spurs are title challengers.

Soon it changed to Redknapp is clueless, the squad is threadbare hence the collapse, and Spurs were never going for the title, nor even top london club, 4th is all you wanted!!!

Spurs fans, fickle as f'k.
