"Afternoon all, just got back from a bad round of golf"

You always come back from a "bad round of golf"...

lol Amir Yeah, I can't believe how often 1 player ( yours truly) can hit golf balls into lakes, lakes which aren't anywhere near fairways and greens lol

Well it seems as though you're as bad as me, even though I've never played Golf before!

amir. Some people call golf a good walk spoiled and boy oh boy are they right most of the time.

You must be quite impressed with the way the West Indies are trying to fight back here?

I'll be honest I've had no time to watch the game... I've seen a few overs at the most, but have followed what has happened.

I would just love the WI's to make at least a fight of it, so there is something good to watch, but of course because of that number 1 ranking would love England to go unbeaten this summer...could happen!

How good is this fella chanderpaul. I remember we couldn't get him out last time we played him in England and he is at it again.
If England can grab another wicket tonight then we will win this easily. The Windies are going to make that task difficult for us though and respect to them.

They are hitting quite a few boundaries right now and our lead is evaporating.

This is England's game 100%, you are not gunna lose. What happened in the winter in terms of chasing, won't happen in England...

England, unbeaten at home since 2008(in terms of series), can see that record streching for much, much longer...

The signs were already there against Australia that this Windies team were getting slightly better, but they still have a lot of work to do. This match may still end inside four days but I have to admit, as of now I am a little concerned.

Trust me don't be! As wierd as it may sound I support England from a neturals perspective and I can tell ya, there is nothing to be concerned about.

ok amir, I will take your word for it. Can we agree that today, in England, it has been the West Indies day?
I thought we would beat them inside 3 days and still thought that when our wickets were tumbling. Imagine if these 2 batsemen can get the score quite a bit past ours.Game on from there?

The drama is the important thing for me, and we are getting loads already

I've had a couple of very enjoyable weeks giving a couple of my pummy mates a hard time of it being Man.U & Liverpool supporters....bad is not the word for it when you consider the money being poured into each club.
Another mate is from Blackburn but I've left him to drown his sorrows in peace because he is ripping his own team (owners) apart.

This cricket series against West Indies might place England into a false sense of security leading into more important matches down the track...

Nice to see you back Rabbit - Crikey did really just say that lol
Come on Leeds, Yorkshire and England , oh and while I am on a roll I might as well throw in Phil Taylor pmsl

Been impressed with this fight from the West Indies.

I've got to say that Bresnan is not good enough for England. Yes we've won every test match he's played in but he's hardly won us the games. Finn is much more of a wicket taker.

Neon can laugh at Spurs because Chelsea won the Champions league & we were unlucky but your a 50 odd year old man with a wife & kids and you spend your entire life arguing with 20 odd year olds on an online forum

Seriously... I pitty people like you

Getting close to Lara's 400 comments.

Samuels looks a much better player than his stats say with an average of 30 in 30 odd tests.

Bresnan has had Chanderpaul playing and missing than any other bowler. On this pitch with no swing all of our pace men have struggled. With Swann having no spin on this slow wicket our options are limited. All hopes rest with the new ball or a batsmen error.

If these 2 can see off the new ball then it's game on.
