Play David Silva in defence instead of Kompany, and see how you do.

Does that mean saf made a mistake, was it his selection that cost united the match? x
are you this interested in the club you purport to follow?
To be honest, I found his comments after a little disrespectful towards Everton (they played a lot better football in the first half than just long ball to Fellaini), but a lot of the stuff he said was him just protecting his team.
For me, it is a difficult game to judge United on. With Kagawa in there, he looks great going forward, but doesn't particularly add much when they didn't have the ball. The midfield was too easily overran at time.
Having said that, Carrick was being played out of position, so I wouldn't pass judgment until he plays in midfield and they have a full quota across the back.
Is Rooney carrying an injury at the moment? He didn't look with it at all.
City found this game hard last year and will this year
Ungracious mutterings from a classless man.
"Play David Silva in defence instead of Kompany, and see how you do."
Why? Did you put Scholsey in for Vidic or something?
Course they go along with his comments, he's the football worlds very own version of Anton LaVey - you'll be on thin ice for not addressing him as 'Sir' in your article and all.
Maestro, I think Yaya for Kompany would be the fair analogy. Maybe Young should give CB a try?
wow you won yet are still getting wound up by us

Eh? Did you really watch the game? He worked tirelessly when we didn't have the ball - a point that many United fans have already made today. If anything it was Scholes' inability to get round the pitch that resulted in us being overrun in the centre.
Pride, annoyed with Fergie specifically yes.
Milner in for Lescott sounds more appropriate to me, a switch that wouldn't automatically mean we would lose a game in my book... Rag and sensationalism do go hand in hand though.
Of course he's going to say what he said, just like the other 19 managers in the premier league do every week.
We lost, you won yet you're harping on about us
I have seen a lot of United fans say that Elvis, and to be honest, I didn't see it in the way Kagawa played (I thought he was fantastic when you had the ball though). In playing the formation you did, I saw Kagawa, Rooney and Nani struggle at times to get back deep enough to stop the space behind them in the first half, which Everton exploited, and Cleverley seemed to drift too far forward to give Scholes the support he needed.
In the second half, Sir Alex has a point in that the long ball was used more as that space was then being occupied.
Milner for Zab would be the Valencia for Rafael equivalent.
I don't think his remards are way off, they looked for Fellainis head EVERY time they got the oppurtunity, but like he said it worked for them.
He admitted we didn't make enough chances and were a little short od ideas going forward, that we played it about too much.

Don't get wound up by him.
Be happy. You won we didn't.
Ferguson later goes on to say had united taken their chances, they would have won the game
---
What chances did we miss ? i must have missed them because Tim Howard was a spectator last night. Could have made himself a cup of tea during the game and no one would have noticed.
City lost at Goodison last season so apparently that makes it alright.
Silva as a centre back, all 5 foot six of him.
At least Carrick is a six footer that has played there before (unsuccesfully i may add).
It's a shame we have not got SWP anymore, we could always utilise him at cb if we needed.
Well I'm more than happy to write comments about it Vidicschin, thanks though. I'm very happy we won and very happy you didn't.

Disagee with that.
Kagawa is used to playing in a side who play with an aggressive pressing game. Dortmund were excellent at this. You could see him trying to press opponents last night and he even made a couple of good challenges but the problem is that we don't play with the same pressing game. Whether that be down to our tactics or our players not wanting to press teams aggressively. Scholes just doesn't have the legs to press opponents which is why I would've rather had Anderson playing last night.
I did find SAF's comments a bit disrespectful to Everton because they played some very good football at times but it's the norm for a manager to deflect attention away from his team when they lose so it's understandable.
People kept going on about RVP not being fit, but from what i saw last night Welbeck looked so unfit it was laughable.
He was so slow, sluggish and quite lazy. I think he's a top talent but last night he was not fit enough to play, Young should have played as he is actually a left winger.
