Attack is the best form of defence.
And a drowning man thrashes out in all directions.

Remember <Citeh> and their attempts to claim that Spurs were no different to them ??

Or were leeching profits from the club for themselves ??

And my study of the accounts that conclusively proved that the only thing ENIC provide to Spurs, is the corporate strength that makes our debt "soft" .

So where is the link and at what point did the company structure I have given a link to change?

I'm happy to change my views if provided with fresh facts.

Why are West Ham fans so jealous of Spurs?

Grieves nearly wrote a book about OS and West Ham.

Companies House is your friend.

And we're still waiting for your info as to who owns "ENIC International" (who by your claim is a SUBSIDIARY company) ...

"why are West Ham fans so jealous"

On an article created explicitly to be negative about the Hammers OS move!

You keep saying company house, as if the very mention if the name proves you to be right. This despite the fact I have provided a link to back up my argument, while you just repeat "company house"

ENIC (based in the U.K) own ENIC International (registered in the Bahamas) who in turn "own" Spurs. Why do you think is the reason for this rather tortuous chain?

You may be correct, but everything I have read indicates my position is right. I'm happy to admit to being in error, if you provide any proof.

Spurs have won two league cups in the last 20+ years so have been a little more successful of late.

Your two follow up questions are down to interpretation and simple can't be answered in any factual way.

COMPANIES HOUSE is the ONE TRUE SOURCE of info regarding ALL Ltd companies in the UK.

If it ain't RECORDED there, IT AIN'T HAPPENING.

"ENIC (based in the U.K) own ENIC International (registered in the Bahamas) who in turn "own" Spurs. Why do you think is the reason for this rather tortuous chain?"

Simple.

ENIC UK is the parent.
ENIC International is a subsidiary in a govt regime where for PERSONAL INFO on directors is strictly protected.

As a Ltd company director myself, one of the
annoying things about the Companies Act is that my PERSONAL address etc is available for anyone to acquire (when IMHO tis none of their business) .

When ENIC bought Spurs, they got inserted into the CORPORATE STRUCTURE the same way as any other ENIC acquisition prior (or I assume subsequent to) Spurs.

Does that clarify things for you ??

posted on 7/12/12

tbh no.

But what I think your saying is that ENIC International is used to prevent people having clear information of Spurs ownership? The fact that the Bahamas is also a tax haven is simply coincidental?

At least you are now accepting that there is a chain of ownership which includes a Bahamas registered company.

"But what I think your saying is that ENIC International is used to prevent people having clear information of Spurs ownership?"

Of ENIC.

Oh I get it now. You BELIEVE this corporate chain has been constructed SOLELY for ENIC to practise tax avoidance on Spurs.

Spurs are one little asset in the considerable portfolio of the beast that is ENIC plc. They get no preferable treatment. Their place in the corporate chain is no different to the other ENIC assets.

I don't hate Spurs, it was Spurs fans use of terms like "D.ildo bros" that simply led me to point out that few if any business man or companies are whiter than white (except RDBD who I'm sure is a paragon of virtue).

And ??
The corporate structure of ENIC does not affect the day to day operation of THFC.

However, YOU have insinuated the corporate structure is allowing TAX AVOIDANCE with Spurs. And you have been challenged to cite the facts supporting that claim ...

Genius - I think there are doubts over the 2 dodgy Dave's the p orn barons and her ladyship Karren Brady as they need some assurances about their future intentions so they will be tied into a contract restraining them from trying to make a pile by selling it on !!

The issue is probably the fact that they are skint !!
