Is this the same "Mayor" who says if the s think they're getting the OS on the cheap due to perceived time pressures ... ??
If your lot had the money at the FIRST bid, without having to ponce off of Newham council, we wouldn't even be having this debate.
"OWNING a PORTFOLIO"
I thought ENIC sold almost the entirety of the rest of thier portfolio when they purchased the controlling interest in Spurs, what else do they currently own?
Oh and that is a genuine question, it is what I've often seen repeated as fact.
If Spurs' greed hadn't gotten the better of them, taxpayers wouldn't have to be lumbered with the bill.
Following its purchase of Sugar's remaining shares in Tottenham Hotspur in 2007, ENIC continued to build up its stake, taking its shareholding to 85%. To fund this investment it disposed of its stakes in other football clubs as well as many of its media and entertainment businesses.
It appears they may have shares in companies like Autonomy etc.
"If Spurs' greed hadn't gotten the better of them, taxpayers wouldn't have to be lumbered with the bill."
If the bid controllers hadn't invited a "stalking horse" with a far more financially credible/backed proposal than the threadbare intended shoe-in to try and demonstrate a "proper" tender process :
you could have had it alllllllll ...
Or, you could listen to the Mayor of London who says West Ham's value will increase significantly due to the OS move. Who to believe: bitter Spurs fans, or those with expertise in these matters..?
You have to laugh don't you???
Saying Boris Johnson knows more about the value of a football club increasing by owning the OS.................Have you never heard of soundbites???

I was responding to RDBD who was talking about the size of ENIC's portfolio when I always believed ENIC sold off most if not all if it when it purchased Spurs.
What are.........................Enic had to relinquish certain holdings such as Glasgow Rangers etc to comply with both FA & Uefa regulations on club ownership.
If you click on this link it will show how transparent Spurs are as a Company.

That is actually interesting, the bit that caught my eye was the fact that the Champions league brought in an extra £37m, but operating costs mainly it says due to Champions League participation increased by £34m!
That can't be right surely? An extra £3m is no golden goose. Did I misread it? I really can't get my head around that.

French ones?
No - a lot more local than France. A new vineyard somewhere in north London.
If i swapped you my 2 grapes for 3 of yours would you call that a good deal?
Mine are nice and sweet. Keep your sour ones.
Grieves, let it go. Sooner or later we will taken over by Westfield group and you heard here first.
