Suarez would walk into every starting XI in the prem.
No manager would be stupid enough to leave him on the bench.
Talk about being in denial.
From he guy who rates Suarez higher than Xavi and Iniesta and nearly on par with Ronaldo and Messi!!!! Seriously think about that for just a second.
"....... everybody is forgetting all the sitters he's missed over the last 2 years...."

The usual manc hypocrisy where they all coveniently forget the time when shrek couldn't score for half a season nearly but they assure us he's 'worldclass'.......

Oh sorry no, you're just making up bullshít as usual.......
Rooney isn't fit to lace Suarez' boots. Suarez is easily the superior player.
Aguero and Van Persie you could argue are better, but Rooney's hapless contributions at international level, his regular droughts and poor form at domestic level, despite playing in a talent laden team reduces his status to good rather than great.
When Suarez becomes the top PL goalscorer over the last 8 years then be can say he's better than Rooney
I wouldn't call Rooney world class on current form either btw.
Sorry Paisley, not better at the moment** suggesting he will one day reach even close to their level is ridiculous.

There was a time, I fear he will never be what he was if he isn't played in his natural position.
When Suarez becomes the top PL goalscorer over the last 8 years then be can say he's better than Rooney
----------
Such an insular, little Ingerlander point of view.
In terms of performance Suarez has been sensational playing in a team which has struggled in the premiership. At international level he has shone like a star and his form in Holland was extraordinary.
Rooney plays for one of the best teams in England, yet struggles to find real consistency in terms of performance. Plus despite the hype he has been an abject failure on the international stage.
Rooney is a good player. Suarez is better
"...Sorry Paisley, not better at the moment** suggesting he will one day reach even close to their level is ridiculous. .."
=============
Sorry busby but I use English language in which 'not better at the moment' means that he's not better at the moment and if I had meant he was 'nearly on par' then I would have written nearly on par.
I have no idea whether Suarez will improve to the extent that one day he is as good as Messi or Ronaldo, or if he will regress to the level of rooney.

No we can say it now.

There see.
"Suarez would walk into every starting XI in the prem.

I'm not sure whether some of you honestly believe this or are wumming a bit as well?
There is not a chance that I would play Suarez ahead of Aguero or Tevez if he was a city player. I rate him very very highly, but this level he is being elevated to is getting slightly ridiculous. He is in a rich vein of form at the moment and playing well. There were times last year though where is finishing was on the same level as Ade Akinbiye for gods sake
It's funny how very few outside of Liverpool share your views. Nobody has called him a poor player, he's a very good footballer, he simply isn't in the elite bracket of footballers as things stand.
Like I've said, if his last 2 months form continue for the next couple of years then yes, he can be considered this level.
He, like Rooney, tends of go through goal droughts and spurts.
It's funny how very few outside of Liverpool share your views

This is another very weak argument.
Liverpool fans are used to this, you see.
Alonso, Mascherano and Torres only became great players in the eyes of rival fans AFTER they had left Liverpool.
It says it all really.
recurring pattern
All players at Manu, Chelsea etc are brilliant until they leave then they're rubbish
All players at Liverpool are average to rubbish until they leave then they're class
It's boring now. It's been proven wrong so many times it's just laughable at this point.
Actually, if you could read, you'd know I said Suarez a very good footballer, just not in (very few) elite bracket of players.
Would you like me to give you some reading lessons Kaisers Trainers?

Poor old Liverpool, always getting picked on. I think you'll find that many fans give LFC players credit when due. I myself spoke on here (or maybe BBC) about Torres being the best striker in the world during his time at Liverpool. I think that he, Alonso and Masch all got plenty of credit from opposition fans. It just seem that you are focussing on the wums and blinkered.
"He, like Rooney, tends of go through goal droughts and spurts"
=============
No he doesn't, he just went through a phase of not scoring as many as his build up play deserved.
He was still scoring fairly regularly, unlike rooney who couldn't hit a barn door for half the season not so long ago.

Sigh. You are no better than the wums who refuse to give your players credit. Plenty of childish comments from you on this thread.
I think I'll leave it there.
You'd have been better advised to have left it much sooner.

Sigh.
Easy one.
LUIS + SAUREZ = WORLD CLASS.
Said it for years.
As you can see. Very easy!!!
The problem in this thread is that nobody wants to acknowledge that a world class player could represent Liverpool.
Suarez is phenomenal at both club and international level. Its funny how RVP is considered world class when he regularly struggles for Holland and took him about 4 years in England to find some great form.

Or maybe people just don't think that Suarez is world class?
So RVP can't be world class because of his first 4 seasons in the PL? How does that work?
I should also point out that he was a 1 in 2 striker in his 2nd and 3rd seasons at Arsenal. He was a good player already, but he couldn't stay fit.
