suarez is world class IMO, fantastic player and along with RVP and mata is one of the best 3 attackers in the PL

a player that would not look out of place in one of the top teams in the world regardless of statistics. RVP and suarez are both world class.

mediocre league, don't know what they base that on as it's produced some of the best players the world has seen, zlatan, berkgamp, robben, RVP to name a few.

It's based on the fact it's an average league. Using a hand full of players proves nothing

But then a 1 in 2 ratio in the PL from Suarez is better than his fellow Dutch imports.
Suarez is world class as there are very few teams in the world that would not want him in their starting 11.
It's not just goals, but the whole performance. He doesn't give defenders a second

Shane Long doesn't give defenders a second

He has, in both leagues and at international level.

I meant in the prem.

And last season how is 17 in 43 world class?

That's not even great.

World class is a pointless saying for people with small willys.

I think had a little bit of disruption to Suarez's prem career last year...didn't we??

and who's fault was that?

And what about the year before?

Scoring loads in the Dutch league proves nothing.

So many cxrap players have done that.

As I say if he sustains this seasons form
For 2 or 3 years then we can talk.

So van Persie is not world class then?

He's on his way to justifying the tag, but not yet no.

Demba Ba has scored one less in England with 10 games less. He is world class.

What's age gotta do with performance?

Jeez. Stretty is just one of those Anyone-But-Suarezs.

posted on 18/11/12

No realistic about what world class means. Idiot.

posted on 18/11/12

So with your logic than Stretty, no player in the PL Is world class as none have performed at their best for3 seasons running?

Van Persie is of course 'world class'. I hate the term itself, but other than Falcao he's arguably the best centre forward on the planet. Suarez is a very good player that seems to be scoring more goals, getting more consistent and finally letting his football do the talking. He's certainly a dangerous player, but for me, I think he has to keep this sort of form up on a fairly consistent basis to be up there with the very best. He isn't far away.
