I'm guessing you work for The Sun?
Some people will claim this to be a load of tin foil hat nonsense but it does tick a lot of the 'believable' boxes.
It would explain the Lewandowski super strong rumours, the purchase of Kagawa and also the weird coincidence of Rooney having his worst game I can remember and then suddenly getting 'injured'.
I'm filing this under 'hmmmmmm'.
I doubt it, but if I was SAF, Rooney would have gone a while ago.
Why are we expressing interest
If we sell Rooney we can kiss goodbye to winning the title
He wouldn't get sold before the summer, but if someone (outside of England) came in with a decent bid, I would accept.
Arab
Rooney is important but no one player in this squad of ours is vital to winning a trophy when we have someone else to step into their place.
I don't want Rooney to go but we would move on just like we always do when a big player leaves.
This all seems very plausible.
Rooney back to Everton, although wages may be a problem.
I can't believe some of you believe this claptrap, not even the Fail have this on their front page. He's injured and that's it.
It wouldn't surprise me at all to be honest. I definitely doubted the 'injury' story that came out after Swansea.
Arab
It's not a case of us believing it. Just opening our minds to the possibility of it.
the rumour says that rooney would be sold in the summer so I don't know why you are saying we can kiss goodbye to the title
Why would we sell one of our best players to bring in Lewandowski?
Fair enough if it was to bring Ronaldo back but anyone else either wouldn't be plausible or aren't good enough to replace him.
all of this bull5hit that gets spouted by papers and twitter really pi55es me off... if the club haven't said anything, it's not happening. Everything else is just a made up load of rubbish
Would love to see how Rooney gets on abroad, to see if he really is as good as is made out.
Blatantly not true.
Rob is right though. People said we wouldn't win the league without, insert class player that has left over the years, and that has never been the case.
Rooney is good but we'd still compete without him.

Whilst I doubt the rumour regarding Rooney is true, that is a very blinkered way of looking at things. Plenty of rumours/transfers that the club never discussed have come true. Just because the club haven't announced something doesn't mean there isn't a grain of truth in it. I can't see SAF selling Rooney though - he has been the heartbeat of the team for the last 5/6 years.

Seriously why even bother writing this ?
It's not like it's even funny.
Wow, cant believe how undervalued our most important player is by our own fans
Wonderman, why do you say that?
This could have been written in the Daily Mail. I can imagine it now, bulletpoints at the top, pictures of Wayne looking unhappy, a picture of Fergie looking angry, quotes from 'sources close to the club and player'. Nicely done.

Rumours are just that though, if you say enough names one is bound to be right. If we had signed everyone we were 'linkled' with this month our squad would now include:
Leo Baptistao (Vallecano)
Fernando Muslera (Galatasaray)
Asmir Begovic (Stoke)
Pepe Reina (Liverpool)
Sven Bender (Borussia Dortmund)
Luka Modric (Real Madrid)
Wesley Sneijder (Inter Milan)
Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
Ashley Cole (Chelsea)
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
Now one of those might well come true one day, but this proves my point that you print enough names - one will be correct.
That's true, RVP. It's like Sandy's football predictions.
