Guardiola then?
Headline makes it look like he's super salty but only quote ive seen is that he's a fan of us on the pitch but not off it๐คทโ๏ธ
I know he's a smart man who probably wouldn't say anything to the media without a meaning behind it but seems like they're just stirring up trouble
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"It is understood that City believe Arsenal were the prime movers behind a joint letter sent by eight Premier League clubs to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in which they argued that any attempt by City to delay a Uefa ban while their appeal was ongoing should be dismissed.
City were also irritated by Arsenal's conduct earlier in the season when the Gunners approached Mikel Arteta. City were frustrated that no-one from Arsenal had the courtesy to tell them what they were intending to do.
The Blues are understood to believe Arsenal were one of the chief instigators behind a collective approach to Cas basking them not to agree to any delay in the European suspension pending City's appeal."

Yes but that's all a journalists words caveated with "it is understood" who by? ... All Guardiola said is the one quote which isn't particularly incendiary

It's a compromise deal J99
No one is ecstatic with it but everyone is satisfied as is often the sign of a fair negotiation.
The real victory is that its a sign the union is still strong and beneficial for all
Sorry ๐ฎ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
M8. Thats not how it works. There are extreme internal pressures on all those countries. Italy already complaining that when Covid was ravaging Northern Italy the rest of Europe did nothing. In fact the leadership of the Eu was still over concerned about illegal immigration from Turkey instead of preparing or helping Italy.
No one cares about the 'project' in those countries at the moment. Its like here. people are worried about their jobs and prospects. And they are looking at someone to blame. Those who want to benefit from that on the right will use it.
I mean the quote from Guardiola implies he's not happy with the way we conduct ourselves off the field, so I don't think those words from the reporter have no substance. Otherwise why would Guardiola mention that at all?
I wonder if we have approached John Stones.
That's just obfuscation again
People ARE worried about jobs and prospects yes... Thats why it's great to be part of a union that can pick up areas a government and state can't. And when many said Brexit would lead to other "exits" and the collapse of the union they agree a deal of this size despite many competing interests.
Shame we've decided to leave just when we might need it most... but let's be honest if this current Tory party were round the table an agreement would have been harder
There's an even bigger threat to jobs in the UK looming in 2021 ๐จ
The only union that's breaking up is Britain
https://twitter.com/OnlyNorthWales/status/1284822254598205440
Don't understand how its obfuscation. Its pretty clear that the projects aim was to act as one block in exactly these black swan events. Which it hasn't done. Just like the euro crisis in 2012 its kicked the can down the road with a semi response and called it a success with the hope that growth will take care of it. But there can be no growth if there is no consumer confidence and high unemployment.
There is no point re-arguing brexit because we have left. Thats what you are doing. Even if were still there the money wouldn't be coming to us. We would be required to contribute to those who really needed it which is Spain and Italy at the moment. Farage would still be a force using that and UKIP and the rest would be crying on the front page of every Murdoch newspaper.
We are where we are. My hope is that we can get a soft deal with the EU. Thats abt it.
So yesterday it was that a deal was impossible, now it's a bad deal
Proof will be in the pudding and as one of the worst hit countries it would be nice to get some support from our neighbors
Now onto the Russia Report?

But you did vote leave?

What do you mean they are being forgotten. What do you think the small business covid grants and loans are for? As well as the business rates holidays. Sunak has done more here than any other country in the EU not called Germany.

Had TTIP been implemented as I expected it wouldn't be 'wrong'. But in life circumstances change and decision that you take at the time don't apply. Thats about being grown up.

Not at the time I voted in 2016. But if we were to hold the referendum again I would vote to stay in. But we are not going to have one because we have already left.
If you were going to ask should we join now would be really a very difficult question because I know for a fact that we would be asked to contribute to contingency funds. I wouldn't be happy abt that. We need to spend on our economy at the moment.
