Hello.
If we had won last night none of these articles slagging off the midfield etc. would exist I don't think
Scholes' tackling coach (U9713)
True.

I Reading were in the top 4 Brian McDermott wouldnt have got sacked.
OP
If you have been reading this site for a year, then you would know we are not over reacting.
The vast majority of us have been saying these same things even when we have won games.
A lot of people on here do talk crap every now and again, but if you look back on yesterdays match thread, you will see people calling for Giggs to be replaced well before half time.
If you go back far enough on it, you will find my comment after five minutes saying Giggs will start to tire in another ten - fifteen minutes and city will start to grip midfield.
You really have to wonder why SAF can not see this.
The articles I am referring to mention midfield problems more deep seeded than just from last nights game they refer to the whole season
Vidicschin (U3584)
on your last bit, i think he does now after last night, we might sign a midfielder this summer.

Yes, they would, because as I have said above, most of us have been saying the same things when we have won.
Do you think our midfield has been good this season?
Yes I do, I think Carrick and Cleverley have played very well this season. I think Fergie chose the wrong personnel last night.

I don't think he does.
He has abandoned his philosophy of having faith in some of the youngsters, and in most of the big games he opts for experience. Which would be fine if the experience was a bit younger than 40.
I want the SAF of old back.

Good morning Indian.
How long do you think you will last today?
I do think many people have gone a bit overboard after last night but many of the problems people are voicing have been deep rooted in the team for a while now.
It's only when we lose they veer their ugly head on such a scale. But they are discussed at length even when we do win - particularly Giggs in cm, Welbeck wide, the midfield and our lethargic football.

What youngsters? Welbeck and Cleverley? both players started in the two madrid games. Where are you drawing this information from? the fact that fergie plays giggs every now and then?

Not a chance
It's been obvious for 2 seasons at least now he but still plays him. Last night won't affect anything when it comes to Giggs. He'll finl a way to blame Nani
TBH, I still don't actually mind Giggs on the LW where he can still do a job for half an hour but playing him last night in CM when younger, better CMs were sat on the bench was criminal
The same was done at Norwich and we lost that game too
