Chelsea have also signed Van Ginkel
Tah, Henrik.
Not seen him play, heard good things about him though.
chelsea are a joke. how many midfielders do they want?
Southampton want Wanyama, Banega and Leandro Damiao.

To be fair, like us they will probably lose a few too.
Southampton want Wanyama, Banega and Leandro Damiao.
Well they got Gaston Ramires
That Van Ginkel looks very promising from what I saw of the under 21's.
They need a cm as Ramires, Lampard and Mikel is an average central midfield.
Doovdé.
If they could sign those three players then they would be arguably as good as Everton were last season.
Banega is far too good for Southampton.
southampton will be good next season... they are also a bankrolled club, just to a lesser degree.., they have cash.
i quite like them i hope they do well. i would be happy if they signed leandro as at least we wouldnt have to listen to that nonsense again
Jay Rodriguez is going to be a great player for them, he was quality once Adkins was sacked.

Yup! Bored of the bloke. But would be gutted if he turned out to be a quality player
Luke Shaw too, great prospect.
luke shaw may have second season syndrome... will wait and see on that .
Shaw was great, yet he's rated below the likes of Gibbs for some reason.

I'm not convinced Benteke wont have second season syndrome too.
chicken. i agree. which is why i am one of the few spurs fans not too bothered about signing him. i think he is a good player, but think there are better options for the cash we are talking about.
I'm not on this board often enough to have even noticed weare wasn't around any more, or to have originally seen the articles in question.
Sometimes on this site, I've wortried that the admins could be a little 'over zealous' in terms of 'off topic' conversations (on BBC 606 anything vaguely 'not football' related got deleted immediately).
However, seeing idiotic comments on the threads that have been linked, and even comments such as Chronics on this very thread, make me think - maybe they should be even stricter.
People have some really idiotic, ill informed views, that are perhaps best not shared on this type of forum.

Philspurs
I 100% agree. The problem with that is, where do you draw the line, no "Apprentice thread", no "Friday joke thread"?
I could cope without these but some are actually really harmless, albeit totally off topic.
Philspurs, to be fair that thread raised some very good debate up until weare turned up and ruined it.
It's got to be hard for the admins to moderate the whole site and it's content.

This article is not a lightweight sports discussion don
I was just about to ask that Philspurs. I went off for a while, come back and almost every thread goes off topic within a few posts. Worst thing ever when the Beeb decided to keep so many of its TV and radio stations instead of 606.
I think there should be less political threads- it never ends well; everyone is entitled to their viewpoint because politics affects near enough everything- but if you're so adamant about it join a political party.
