It's a sad day when you're subject to hatred for having the belief that homosexuality is wrong.

Err...yeah...that wasn't what was happening at all.

redrob I just love reading your replies to his articles. He clearly gets on your t its and it's pretty hilarious to watch.

I haven't read the other thread. Just from this thread:

"amazingly idiotic"
"idiotic comments on the threads that have been linked, and even comments such as Chronics on this very thread"
"People have some really idiotic, ill informed views"
"I had no problem with his views (even if they were idiotic)"

How about this. If you think there is nothing wrong with homosexuality, you are an idiot.

You're also a bigot if you hate people who think it's wrong.

So many bigots and idiots in this thread then...

That might be relevant if it was only about homophobic remarks, though. As it happens, it is not.

Relevant to what? The original topic? Something about weare? I wasn't referring to that at all.

I don't post much here but I gather we're allowed to stray off topic somewhat.

By the way, I should add that I don't actually think you're all idiots and bigots particularly. My post was to show up some hypocrisy and the strange level of hatred for people who believe homosexuality is wrong. Often it makes them no better than the people they're rallying against.

==========

If the responses that you highlighted were solely hateful responses about homophobia (even though that shouldn't be tolerated) I might see your point. However, the comments are the cause of bigotry on a much grander scale than just homophobia and weare's awful comments have struck a cord with many people on here.

Whether he's racist or homophobic or just plain ignorant and stupid, he's been banned before for sailing far too close to the wind before so he can't really have any complaints.

The ade comment? No excuse

The anti-gay marriage thing? Meh. I'm not exactly an advocate of homosexuals/same gender marriage but at the same time I'm not overly bothered by it. Just feel uneasy seeing men kissing and the overly camp dale winton-esque behaviour irritates me.

The woolwich/terrorist comments? Utter disgrace

Don, nobody gets to me like GB. WUMS are WUMS, by their very definition they're tryin to wind people up. GB 100% believes the ridiculous nonsense he spouts. That is the greatest wind up of all. I actually want to shake him. The problem is, people see his comments and all of a sudden every Liverpool fan is painted with the delusional brush cos of him.
-------------------------------------

The GB fella is either the most delusional poster on ja606 or the greatest wum. The guy is comedy gold.

Redrob, the latest gem from him Is Aspas being the next pele even though he's probably only seen a few YouTube clips maybe Aspas will be good, but no one really knows much about him as of yet. The top 4 articles have started and it won't be long before he is boring you all to death with his "positivity" .... I personally think he's not all there in the head, just my view of reading his posts last few years.

Sherrif, deluded aint the word mate. There are certain people that actually think his whole basis of being here is to Wum but he genuinely believes what he writes you want to see the amount of times "great teams" predicted liverpools results and league place last season where as got_better had it in his mind that Liverpool would win all their remaining 10 games and finish 4th

Having read that article, I'd have to agree with weare:

We aren't tough enough on crime
We are too tolerant of radical attitudes i.e the poppy burners/anti-troop protestors.
Multi-culturalism is a failed experiment and have led to vast swathes of segregated areas in Britain.
We should pull out of the EU.
The Human Rights Act should be scrapped because it protects and is abused by the wrong people.

As for his attitude to gay marriage? Not fussed about that stuff. I get on well with Jay regardless.

Hooplar, I think all the quotes you've used were my own.

Sorry that I'm one of those annoying people who doesn't think bigoted people should be allowed to hold bigoted views that can affect the freedom and civil liberties of others.

If that makes you want to call me a bigot or idiot, then knock yourself out son.

In weare's defence (sort of), I think he let the events of that day get to him.

He might be a little bigoted or ignorant, but I certainly don't think he's a racist.
