Poor old weare, a / response trigger so sensitive he makes Don look like the Buddha.
He might be a little bigoted or ignorant, but I certainly don't think he's a racist.
Disagree, he's a who should keep his racist bigoted opinions to himself
Maybe he is a racist. I couldn't care less; everyone is entitled to an opinion.
There are far more dangerous people on the planet than mere racists.

I don't get the problem if hes a racist. So what if he is? Unless hes going out to harm people what difference does it make what he thinks? If he doesnt like a race for no particular reason that makes him a bad person? You can't help how you feel, I honest don't understand what the problem is unless you're actively harming someone?

I couldnt care less. Even some of the comments on here. I dont mind what he says about homosexuals because I dont like them myself but the racist thing I dont agree with that so thats wrong

This is what the British empire was founded upon, and why we sit easy upon one of the worlds strongest economies hundreds of years later
I wouldn't consider myself bigoted. I have a lot of close mates who are gay and my best mate is black. I don't see the point in hating people for their origins, sexxuality or lifestyle choices.
However, for whatever reason, as a white-British males I would tend to more more sympathetic to the EDL than a similar extremist Islamic group campaigning for sharia law or against our troops. I don't think that makes me a racist; my reasoning is 'don't like the way we do things, don't live here.'
thudd give an opinion if you have one son tell me why its wrong for a person to have an opinion on someone else through ignorance or whatever? why does that make him a bad person and a as he called above?
I'm not even sticking up for weare here I honestly don't get it mate
Please don't equate my above comment to me being an EDL supporter (realised how it could be construed when I read it back )

This is the bigot apologist mantra and it's inherently flawed.
It's a question of morality. Just because somebody with these values doesn't actively go out and harm people doesn't mean it should be tolerated.
It's a platform from which violence is built upon. Racism is an ideal and an extremely harmful one to society. Accepting that people should be allowed this belief because they aren't harming anyone is just sweeping the problem under the table.
The more negativity that is shown towards racism and people with racist values the better, as in the long term it will contribute to the collective belief that it is wrong to hold such values.

That can be said of loads of things. People turn to violence over homophobia, political ideals, even football teams. Yeah racism isn't a great trait to have no one said it is but it doesn't mean someone will turn to violence either?
The rest of my post addresses that. And just because something doesn't lead to violence (even though racism does) it doesn't mean it isn't harmful.
It's not guaranteed to lead to violence but it is something that is prevalent in hate crimes, therefore it's wrong. Violence, hatred and general dislike will never be eradicated from the world because nobody will ever get on with everyone, but to have a negative opinion/dislike/hatred about people due to things beyond their control such as race, colour, religion, sexual preference isn't something that acceptable regardless of whether there's malicious intent
