Ozil is a player I love watching play football. He's going through a sticky patch at the minute but all players do. I think they're both class players and United and Araenal are lucky to have them. Fence sitting.

I go by what I've seen in the league so far, not on the words of a manager who had every reason to kiss Ozil's backside when he made those comments.

Mata is better. Simple as.

You would swear by the sound of things on here that Mata has never played in La Liga and Ozil has spent his entire career there.

Ozil is still settling in the league playing at about 50% and still racking up the assists for fun. I can't wait for next season when he's at his best making people eat humble pie

On that statistical analysis, I looked at Mata's goal and assist record the other day and it was much better than the stat I see here. He averaged somewhere in the region of a goal or an assist every 1.4 games. I went to Wikipedia (admittedly can be unreliable but is generally accurate) and his assist stats have been removed. Strange.

If I had to pick between Mata and Ozil, I'd pick Rooney every time.

He's better than both Can carry a big team playing around rubbish players. Can't say the same for Mata and Ozil
