Hi Manfrom
Odd question but are you still home brewing? It's something I'm planning on starting up myself...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I still do a few batches a year. Slowed down this year due to stupid baby needing all this care and attention, but have a bunch of cider in the fridge and a few bottles of Hefeweizen remaining from the last brew.
Planning on getting my winter stout on the go shortly. It'll be all chocolately and coffee-ey and good and strong at about 8% or so.
I'd say its well worth it. take a class in a local home brew store, or hang out with a mate who brews to get the feel for it. It's really straight forward.
The forums here are a great resource for recipes and guidance. I'm still not great at creating my own receipes (grapefruit gose was kinda poor) but following any of the jhundreds that are out there can;t be beat.

Cheers
Will take a peek at that forum and get my kit ordered. Thinking of just starting with a 40 pint boxed kit to get the feel of it before going into freestyle recipes.
Also, Granfield RAP
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good call. I do 5gallon stove top partial mashes. So a lot of dried malt extract and then up to 4 or 5lbs of specialty grains for the flavor.

Do you ever get really annoyed when you're losing and just launch the ball as hard as you can knocking everybody's balls all over the show after they have strategically placed them? At least that would make it entertaining.

It's true. Lawn bowls is the real deal.
It's people like Rap making a mockery of the sport with his carpet bowls stopping it from being a top sport

good deal all round
Just need to shift Alberto, Ilori and Wisdom now before the deadline.
Markovic potentially as well
Markovic is a strange one. It seems there's a player in there somewhere but it takes a lot of looking to find it.
