I've just read an interview with Klopp and he does make me laugh and tbh I agree with him.

People banging on about a DM when we have 81% possession.

Who cares about 81% wasted possession when we concede two comical goals which a DM may have been in position to prevent?

It's a ridiculous suggestion to say we should play a defensive midfielder with 80% possession Kash. A long range shot and letting a player run through the defence was nothing to do with having a defensive midfielder or not.

We failed to create any good openings. For me that was a tactical issue as much as anything. You can't play so narrow with a false nine against a defensive team, it makes it easy for them to defend against.

We should buy some more attackers

Can't wait to play Tottenham tbh. Get this rubbish out of the system.

Well Lallana & Wijnaldum certainly didnt do enough with that 81% possession.

How many times did they just pass it to the fullback or out wide and play it safe.

Hendo is excluded because he was the DM and kept things ticking over.

We should've played with 2 strikers imo...

TOOR, why did we get 80% possession in the first place? it was because we conceded 2 silly goals which allowed Burnley to park the bus.

Both Lovren and Klaven are poor with the ball. They actually need a deep midfielder to take the ball of them. They are also for me too far apart and don't have the pace to get into position.

The first goal when Clyne gave the ball I would expect a DM to be close to Gray to prevent the easy pass to Voakes.

The 2nd goal one the Burnley players cuts through our midfield with ease and there was some poor defending by Skrtel mark 2 as well but I would expect a good DM to perform better again.

I fully agree with the false 9 against defensive sides. We need men in the box.

You can't account for a pass like Clyne's though.

From what I've seen Klavan looks alright on the ball. Brings some balance as a left footer switching the ball out to whichever of our 9564 attacking midfielders are on the right flank at that moment in time.

Klavan's 'tackle' actually made me laugh though. Lovren is Lovren...i dont expect much from him at all. We were pretty high the pitch for the second though and then you jockey with your body positioning all wrong if the attacker makes a quick jimmy to the inside.

Lovren had the right idea, just the execution was all wrong.
