I certainly don't get Milner at left back.

if klopp rates Moreno and doesn't think we need to sign a left back then play him but don't bring a rightfooted cm in to do it!

whenever balls dont get played into him he starts dropping deeper and deeper

Mane and Sturridge in the right are chalk and cheese.

Look how many runs in behind Mane makes. Sturridge is constantly coming deeper to get on the ball, rather than make the runs the teams needs him to make from that position.

That's what I mean when I talk about Sturridge not being direct.

It's the same as centre forward. People say they don't like false 9 with Firmino but Sturridge plays centre forward the same as Firmino does. He comes deep all the time. I think the difference is Firmino will where Klopp wants him to for the team, block the spaces when defending and leave the gap for Mane when attacking and then arrive in the box.

Sturridge will go wherever the mood takes him. He's a fantastic player, but there's a reason why Klopp hasn't started him that much.

Klopp is even more all about the team and the plan than many other manager are.

Seems to me that Klopp starts Sturridge in all big games that he is fit. He's only made 14 sub appearances in the league in his entire time with us.

I think there is evidence to back up either argument.

Time will tell.

Thankfully we're not THAT reliant on him anymore.

he's 23 next month, had 4 loan spells away from Leeds since 2012.

Thought he was younger, I knew his name and he's a LB from the Championship so I assumed there had to be a reason why.

There's a big Leeds contingent on JA so we could ask them...
