They know how to grow a brand and increase revenue streams.

This season has been really poor for all sorts of reasons:

• PR
• injuries
• ESL
• lack of goals
• yes.. even bad coaching

But I give Jurgen a complete pass. The man has made us dream again. He turned the club into winners and in a season like this, with no fans, the passing of his mother and a pandemic, I hold nothing against him.

I just hope he’ll win another title with us before he goes because it’s a tragedy that he didn’t get to celebrate such a monumental moment with the fans.

Not when a ton of that 450 were not good enough or being played anyway.

We made £100m just from Benteke, Ibe, Solanke and Brewster for example.

Titty is right. We can't spend like City or Man United without selling and expect to win the trophies we have. Our recruitment is very good but it is more down to Klopp who only wants a certain type of player. He always goes for defenders with pace and front players who are quick and have good off the ball movement.

I think the big concern is that we have allowed the squad to age and we have loads of players on contract until 2023 who are waiting for a renewal. Players like:

Get a payrise:
Salah
VVD
Fab

On same money:
Mane

On less money:
Henderson
Firmino

Sold this summer when we can make the most:
Ox
Kieta
Shaq

I'd be tempted to sell Mane in the summer. His stock is as high as it'll ever be now, he isn't absolutely vital to us anymore and we've got an ageing squad that needs investment in a few areas. If we could get 100m for him (dream world potentially) and invest in the likes of Konate, Kabak, Neto and a striker then the squad would be in a much better place.

We won't get much for Origi, Ox, Keita etc. I'd be tempted to keep Keita frankly.

Mane has probably dropped down to £60m if we wanted to sell him.

Well if we want any investment in the squad I'd imagine one of our biggest names will need to go to fund it.

The reason FSG are lucky to have Klopp is because he is perhaps the only manager in world football who can be successful with the "budget" they have given him. Any other manager would have failed, even Pep needs hundreds of millions in net spend before his team's become dominant. Any other manager would have failed and FSG would have been exposed. So yes, they are very lucky to have Klopp seeing as their "funding" style is not viable with just about every other manager in the world except Klopp.
