So Chelsea sign Moises Caicedo for £75m just a day after selling Mason Mount to United for 60m. I dunno but looks like United are still mugs in the market. Chelsea with the better business and better asset IMO. They are actually doing well in this window.

Glad we walked away from the Mount deal. Obviously it's now clear we had the money but didn't deem him worth as much as United paid. I'm much happier with Lobo+AMA than I would have been with Mount+AMA.

I’m quite excited about this season tbh.

Fresh legs in midfield is exactly what we need.

The Spanish kid as well, and Trent stepping into midfield as well.

Feels like we have some good options there if we can get the system right.

Said this last week but Caicedo has only played 16 more EPL games than Lavia.

Caicedo may well go on to prove himself an outstanding player but as it stands, it’s a huge fee.

Whatever you may think of Mount, and I know there are a range of opinions, he tested. Poor recent form but he’s played well under pressure - he’s started regularly for a team expected to win and he played in massive games, CL final, Euros final.

Caicedo has looked excellent at times but has also made errors that the likes of TAA would be castigated for. It’s a big step up for him and a huge fee to justify.

Soboszlai is our new number 8

Things on paper at least are looking good. It will be interesting how Klopp will set the system up. I think he will use TAA in that inverted role which he performed so.well in. The question is who do we have to play that role when Trent is rested or unavailable.

My guess would be Badgertits. He was superb coming into the side last season and imo has has the attributes to play the position well.

2 exciting signings indeed, 95m for 2 talented mfs with their best years ahead of them. Might take some time for him to adapt to the prem ontop our system mind.

Tis a great signing tbh. Not a lot of opposition fans will rate him, but he is quality. Still don’t know how to pronounce his name though??
