Ten Hag sacked

Makes no difference, it'll just be the same cycle over and over again.

Sadly, I don't think that's true. ETH after two and a half years still hadn't imprinted any kind of style of play onto the team. The recruitment was haphazard in terms of profile and ability.

Get a manager in who knows what he wants, recruits based on need and is tactically sound; they'll improve unfortunately.

Fingers crossed that they go with Southgate instead.

Aye, theyve still got some good players there, their teams miles better than what klopp took over surely? Issue is who is available? plz let it be southgate

Southgate ruled himself out of any managerial job this season didn't he

The allure of taking Manchester United up the table may prove too attractive.

The dizzy heights of 15th beckons for Gareth

How is that different to their previous managers? It’s not about the manager at United.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well post-Fergie they've appointed someone out of their depth (Moyes), way past their best (LvG), past their best and divisive (Jose), way out of their depth (Ole) and seemingly incapable of constructing a team (ETH).

None of their managers have really gone on to do much, unless you rate the UEFA Conference League.

If your argument is that they've made poor decisions before so will make poor decisions again, well I hope you're right. But sooner or later they'll get it right and when they do, the right manager will make a big difference so them, same as it would at any club.

Wow...think I need compassionate leave from work after reading this news

saddest day for football in a long time.. saddest for others , Ten hag was doing a marvelous job

posted 2 hours, 35 minutes ago

Ten hag was more successful at united than Arteta will be at arsenal

posted 2 hours, 31 minutes ago

Unless the new manager ships out a good punch of their overrated and overpaid players then there will be no difference in attitude

It's just rinse and repeat at old Toilet. Ten Haag was a Van Haal/Jose combo and RVN will be the next Ole. Good news is that they will get some new manager bounce and still have to play Arsenal and City. Chelsea on the weekend too.

I watched Barca dominate Real on saturday and thought Man United could have appointed Flick in the summer and they would have been way better this season.

Ruud wasn't doing much at PSV and was out of his depth there.

I wanted Flick when Klopp announced he was leaving

They need a full on reset like what Arteta did at Arsenal where they sell all the deadwood, even for cheap or contract termination if they have to, and then invest in young hungry players who actually want to play for the club.

The amount of dross they have on high wages because that's the only way they could sign them in the first place is how you end up with players who can't be @rsed.

I watched that game and there was no domination at all. If Mbappe knew how offside worked they'd have been out of sight at ht. They crumbled 2nd half and looked all over the place 2nd half, Barca more clinical. Real keeper was very poor too, just a collapse imo.

i mean give barca credit it was brave and a very young side etc but it wasnt that impressive, mainly due to how poor real were. Even still real prob should have been out of sight first half. Reals heads went 2nd half and Barca just grew in confidence and smashed them. The De Jong sub changed it all for me, they kept the ball better and started to hurt them more.

hes carrying on some decent work before him, that young side will only get better.

Barca played out from the back with combinations whilst Real tried to hit them on the counter. Real were very predictable. Give it to Vini and hope he does some magic. Mbappe was awful and didn't do much in the game.

Yeah I reckon they will get a 4-5 game new manager bounce before the likes of Rashford, Bruno, Maguire decide they've had enough of him.
