Again you didn't answer why..

Why.. why did the right wing Israelis feel they had to disrupt the peace process, why did they think that was a good idea, and kill their own president?

Never mind which nations papers, you didn't answer again, who voted in Ayelet Shaked?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because they're fecking right wing. They hate anything foreign and would go to any length to make their wish happen. The attacks by Hamas has only played into the hands of the right wing politicians to promote their political agenda (of dislike of anything foreign)..

Ill answer Red, because for some of them the small loss of Israeli life which the conflict causes is worth it for all the extra territory that Israel controls and all the extra territory they continue to expand into...

Also if they did deal with them they may have to share things such as control of the capital, at the very least an equal share of vital resources such as water and good crop growing land....

All those Israeli's probably wouldn't have quite as lush looking gardens as some greedy Palestinians would drink it...

This is nonsense..
The Jews were killed because they were born Jewish.
....................................................

The Palestinians are being killed because they were not born Jewish....

Although is it okay because they label it all collateral damage?

.....................................
Palestinian blockade was introduced after series of suicide bombings and attacks by Hamas on Israeli citizens.
....................................

Ahh right everyone was living peacefully and happy until the Palestinians started suicide bombings?

The Israelis had already taken most of their land, they were already living in a state of poverty, the Israelis owned a much larger share of the important natural resources (economics one and basic survival ones like water)

Do you really think Palestinians were blowing themselves up because they just don't like Jews...

Hell maybe the Black South Africans just fought the Whites because they were racist...

I am not sure why you are mentioning Hamas and the blockade though... the terrorism started long before that....

If i remember rightly it was the Jews who introduced terrorism to the region when they drove the British out of the region via bombings and assassinations and various other terrorist methods... (well to that area in the modern day anyway)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again you're comparing two things that are not similar. The reason Israel took the land was due to the invasion by Arab nations after the creation of the state of Israel.

Strange as most of the "settlers" by definition are from foreign lands while the Palestinians had been there for generations previously.

Come on ... What is the fundamental reason that they killed Yitzhak Rabin, who was one of their kith and kin?

For which reason did they oppose the peace process which would have resulted in a two state solution which would have solved the foreigners issue as those "foreigners" would be in a different country.

Well I've given you my answer. Hamas bombings only managed to turn the Israeli population to the right. The political wing they feel could protect them from the "terrorists".

The Jews logic is very strange. God ordered Moses and his people to go and live there more than 5000 years ago. So can the Muslims all over the world live in Mecca? Also people and countries religions, culture, power, wealth, and status get changed over the years. The same Muslims and Christians who live there were probably rooted back to Moses people.

Hamas where nowhere on the political landscape in 1993 when the peace process was agreed between Arafat and Rabin.

Yet right wing Israelis assassinated their president.. Why?

What made them turn against their democratically elected president?

.........................................................

So the Israeli's took the Palestinians land to punish the Arab nations who fought them?

So lets say in the future Canada attacks USA and loses can the USA take Liverpool from England to punish the Canadians?!

Also you do realise the Israeli's actually took land from the Palestinians to from Israel in the first place?

If you do a timeline of events Israel's founding and the land grab that was required to do it happen before any countries goto war with Israel or any terrorism occurs against them.

Fatah fecked it all up by getting too cosy with the west and casting their own people aside, Arafat although dead was more about me than the people he represented with left a vacuum for Hamas and now more more worrying for the West and that region ISIS.

Someone Israelis elected to office :

Born in Poland in 1915, Yitzhak Shamir moved to what was then Palestine.

His father, mother and sisters were killed in occupied Poland.

In Palestine, Mr Shamir joined a Zionist paramilitary organisation fighting against forces of the British mandate for the creation of a Jewish state.

During his second term as prime minister, he ordered a military solution to the first Palestinian intifada (uprising) which began in 1987.

He persistently advocated the creation of a Greater Israel encompassing all the land between the Mediterranean and the Jordan river.
-------
Yup, they wanted peace alright, right from the beginning.

Keep your head in the sand honestlivpool, it beats you coming up intermittently and talking crap.

No the UN created the state of Israel and gave them a percentage of land in the area. The Arab nations and Palestine did not want the state of Israel and tried to invade the newly created state. The invasion made Israel what they are today as the west were forced to arm them..

Maybe the Palestinians should've told the Arab nations to avoid using violence.

TBH I find the Palestine-Israeli issue to be one that becomes clearer and clearer the more research you do on the issue, unfortunately (for various reasons) many people do not understand the history of the conflict and just end up at the conclusion that terrorism = bad

Well, the whole problem didn't start in 1987. You missed out the1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine, which led to creation of Jewish underground militia..
You also missed out where the Arab world invaded the newly created state which forced the west the arm Israel.

Honest you really need to do some more research in this area, you keep making the most basic of mistakes....

Czechoslovakia was one of the main countries that armed Israel (as a proxy on behalf of the USSR)

How the hell can the UN just give a country away?

If the UN gave Liverpool away to the Palestinians because they have been badly treated in the past I guess you would be cool with it?

Yeah my home is gone, I am now poor and homeless, me and all my neighbours and friends will have to find elsewhere to live but you know what I am okay with it because the UN decided to do it...

I think Britain would goto war in that situation...

Hell thinking about it could you just take a chunk out of a country without it starting a war?!

I don't mean like Scotland independence I mean like completely displacing the people of Scotland and having a new group of people moving in (even though they would only own 7% of Scotland)

You're right, it started way back like that short timeline of Shamirs political life shows, when they attacked the British in Palestine.

The very same people that gave them the mandate for Israel!

These are the right wing elements in Israel that will do anything to get their own ideology to the fore, and a nation state Israel tolerates them, and moreso are intimidate them.

This strong right wing element in Israel that subscribes to the idea of a "Greater Israel" this lobby group elects people like Ayelet Shaked to office.

They assassinated their own president so they didn't have to give up any land to the Palestinians, land that is called the occupied territories upon which settlement building is illegal.

UN resolution passed have been ignored by Israel - not a terribly peaceful thing to do is it?

Simple fact is not all of Israel wants peace via a two state solution, this is clear for all to see.

The settlement building makes it difficult to drmark which is the land that would be apportioned to the Palestinians in a two state solution.

Honestlivpool your answers have been crap, avoiding answering altogether and pointing to situations in other countries (not nearly as deadly if at all) shows you up.
