How the hell can the UN just give a country away?
=======================================
They didn't just give a country away. There was a high number of Jewish in the area which the Palestinians didn't like and it was only right to separate the two.

Where's the insult? It's patently obvious you cannot help yourself.

But okay let's give it a shot... For what reason, maybe ideological did the right wing Israelis assassinate their own president to scupper the peace process of 1993?

Well you obviously have an agenda against Israel and therefore see any action in a negative sense.

The Arab nations tried on several occasion to attack Israel and created an aggressive state.

You go on about Zionists, but majority of Israel only wanted a state to live in.

................................................

WTF?

So if enough Jews moved to England and there were problems between the Jews and the native population the natural response would be to give them a bit of england?!

The UN gave the country away because Jewish people had suffered a lot of persecution in Europe... the large numbers of Jews moved to Palestine because the idea for the Israeli state had already been put into motion.

The British (who owned the area) mentioned previous to the mass immigration that they supported the idea of the Israeli state.

Serious question, have you heard of the Balfour Declaration?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration

You need to read up on it.

Now can you tell me what crimes the Palestinians or the other Arab nations had committed at this point to deserve this?

Or how about the man considered the modern founder of Zionism?

Theodor Herzl?

Beginning in late 1895, Herzl wrote Der Judenstaat (The Jewish State). The small book was initially published February 14, 1896, in Leipzig, Germany, and Vienna, Austria, by M. Breitenstein's Verlags-Buchhandlung. It is subtitled "Versuch einer modernen Lösung der Judenfrage", ("Proposal of a modern solution for the Jewish question". Der Judenstaat proposed the structure and beliefs of what political Zionism was.[31]

Herzl's solution was the creation of a Jewish state. In the book he outlined his reasoning for the need to reestablish the historic Jewish state.

Honestlivpool, seems obvious that you don't regard the assassination of a president that had played a major part in trying to bring peace as a big deal! You mention that because there are right wing parties in other countries this is fine!

And you still haven't answered for what reason they found that 1993 peace deal to be so unpalatable that why had to assassinate their president.

The fact this right wing group hasn't been outlawed is another matter...

What positive viewpoint is there to seeing a nations president assassinated because he agreed to a peace process?

Are you seriously saying that was a positive point?

you keep banging this drum, the answer is simple, Israel has extremists as well.

That has nothing to do with why this fighting began, it began because Hamas killed 3 israelis hiking home.

The two suspects, Hamas 'soldiers' went straight into hiding, Hamas leaders have acknowledged it is highly likely they were the guilty party.

rejected because the concessions were all in favour of Hamas, who are a terrorist organisation recognized by most of the world.

Why would anyone want to favour terrorism?

posted on 26/7/14

Incidently, the peace agreement put together by the USA who allegedly hate Hamas actually favoured Hamas.

TBH peace is majorly in the interest of the Israeli's in the long term anyway!

For the moment the small consequences they suffer as part of their conflict are seen as worth it in terms of the extra territory they control and their continual settlement building and control of most of the resources..

In the long term however the Arab nations aren't going to stay backwards (in terms of military strength) forever and their American support which was rock solid for the longest time does seem to (very very slowly) be fading away... the Israeli's currently enjoying the spoils of war could be sowing the seeds for their demise.

I've come across those..
And where did Jews cause any problem then? The British shaped the whole world. Created boundaries in places that virtually gave away people's lands and forced people to give up their lands and moves..

We could also go even further back to the Persian rule..

Put it this way, it's not peace!

Has the Israeli government banned this group? Or does it tolerate them?

That has nothing to do with why this fighting began,

If that peace process was implemented, there would have been peace along a two state solution. That leave deal was agreed in 1993, 20 years ago. A whole generation would have grown up knowing peace.

You can rest assured that Israel will come out on top, its like brains over braun.

The Arab nations have lost plenty of respect around the world the last 20-30 years thanks largely to an idiot minority, that minority is destroying the Arab people.

And i agree, but we have extremists to thank for its downfall, as we have extremists to blame for this fight now.
