He was only in the U-21s because their games are more important than facing San Marino.
Sure they are
If they are so important.....why can the afford to release him?
Good job Glen Johnson is out or he would still be with the U21's
Johnson is too old
They released him because of the need of the first team became more important due to injuries.
Quite simple, and all explained by Hodgson last week.
Johnson would have kept Chambers out of senior squad
Even now he is behind his old team mate and Stones who fills in at RB.
Earlier you said the U21's was an important game? Now he is called up to warm the bench????
You are not very intelligent, are you?
Chambers played about the same amount of game time as Clyne last season. They were pretty much neck-and-neck as competitors for the RB position.
Which ain't bad for Chambers considering he is five years younger. And a CB.
"..he thought he got lucky being transfered to Arsenal as his game time would have been limited at Southampton due to the quality of players in his preferred position."
What he thought he'd be first choice ahead of Koscienly, Mertesacker or Debuchy? Doubt it.
But presumably you have a link which will disprove this?
I await your response with suitably high expectation...
Well he has been kept out of the senior england squad by his ex teammate, even though the U21's had an important game he couldn't miss according to one poster. He was also behind Stones in the selection process
For such a high transfer price you would have thought he expected first team football, either that or he couldn't handle the competition Clyne gave him for a start
If you cannot comprehend anything but a basic explanation, then maybe you should give up.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever.
Now about that link I asked you for...
I never mentioned a link, so why are you so obsessed with one
"And he thought he got lucky..." suggests that you've read or heard him say this in the media.
Unless you know him personally, of course?
Stones is a gifted defender. He has a cooler head on his shoulders than Chambers who can be a bit over-aggressive. Remains to be seen how they both develop. Walcott was once seen as a bigger talent than Bale. Stones himself would go for a lot of money if sold to a bigger club. All-in-all, don't see what on earth is the point of this article.

Clyne was first choice and clearly the better player. However Chambers is younger. Those saying he's a centre back; I'm not so sure. I've only seen him play centre back for Arsenal and he hasn't been great. Very shaky and numerous mistakes.
Stones looks like he will be a top player but the difference is that Arsenal will be able to hold onto Chambers if he realises his potential. The same can't be said of Everton. You do get the feeling with United lacking defenders and having defenders who are always injured, they'll come in for Stones.

To sit on the bench for England.....I think that is Roy's decision. Made for him with Johnson being out injured
Johnson isn't out injured, for starters.
Johnson would start easily if he was match fit.
He's just come back from injury and only has had a couple of minutes on the pitch.
