Im commenting on a thread that was about floyds odds. You are the one who has brought up pacquiaos comments. I merely retorted that boxers or trainers favour there own fighters.
------------------------------------
That's fine but we're concentrating on the part where Manny said that Floyd would be an easy fight for him.
The highly significant bit here being that Manny never normally says things like that about any opponent.
Also I don't think any fighter has previously said that Floyd would be an easy fight for them. Certainly not in recent history that I can think of.
It's much more than just a trainer or boxer saying that they're going to win a fight. Especially in this context.
But if that's all you think it is and if you don't find it interesting then you're totally free not to comment on it.
He still in denial.
Pacquiao and Mayweather could have a full on brawl at next week's presser, and VIK would say, "Shock Horror, we have seen it before. These type of things happen, what do you expect them to do there."
The kid's in total denial

And I stand by that prediction Vik.
I'm not saying that it will be an easy fight for Manny, I'm just saying that Manny is saying it will be an easy fight.
You seem to be getting your nickers in a right twist over it though. Seems to really bother you as you can't stop talking about it.
All I've said is that it's very interesting because if you know a bit about Pacquiao then you'll know that he never normally speaks like that.
It's that simple and I can keep repeating this as many times as you need me to Vik.

Nothing interesting at all but you just can't stop commenting can you Vik
What's not interesting are your repetitive comments saying not interesting.
Obviously Manny saying that he will beat Floyd easily really irks you otherwise you wouldn't need to keep commenting on something you supposedly find completely "not interesting".
Fact is pacquiao has never faced a fighter that is considered by many to be better than him,a fighter that is considered by some to be the best in his generation.
-------------------------------------
And exactly the same could be said of Floyd who has yet to fight "Fighter of the Decade" Manny Pacquiao.

Not true, Ledwaba was considered better, Barrera was considered better Oscar was considered better. Pacquiao was the underdog.

Pacquiao was already a world champion before any of those fights.
You are still wrong with your assumption, and Pacquiao was p4p no 1 when he fought Oscar.
If you followed the sport you would know these things.
You are just showing how little you know.
Your just showing you can't prove anything, as per normal.
I'll be here every time to ask you just so you know
It like someone Man Utd won the treble in 1999 and then someone asking them to prove it
I not here to teach class and tell you basics.
Maybe if ask nicely I will help with your boxing education but lose the attitude and be respectful.

As I recall when Pacquiao faced Oscar in dec 2008 Mayweather had been on sabbatical for a year. Having beaten D Diaz for the 130lb title that summer manny was generally regarded as the p4p no1. However he was the underdog for the Oscar fight based on the size difference. As it turned out cutting to 147 affected Oscar a lot more than moving up did for manny (think he weighed in at 142) and the rest is history. Since that fight manny has never been the bookies underdog in a match in 7 years til he signed to fight Mayweather.
Absolutely no point referencing as far back as the Ledwaba and MAB fights, they were so long ago they have no bearing on a fight in 2015. As the pic on the following link indicates there is no size disparity between the two men, it is an even fight between two men of equal stature whose careers have followed a similar path size wise (although manny needed some specialist input from Alex Ariza to retain his power at LWW & WW)

Cheers Ace, I learnt something there and it's much appreciated (I had it in my head that it was that fight that made him no.1
BTW I still don't think D4 actually knew that, he spouts comments about Manny all the time and how does the saying go 'Even a broken clock is right twice a day'

Gotta disagree with you their Ace, think his knowledge is lacking quite a bit and he gets by by being daft about Manny and Floyd .
