Gonna watch knives out tonight, heard good things
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Decent film...7/10
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s ok, 7/10 about right
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very enjoyable. A solid 8 for me probably. Although I have no desire to see it again.
Back down to a 7/10 for you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reminded me of an Agatha Christie type itv3 thing, but better done in every way with some nice twists..probably coloured my rating a bit as I hate Agatha Christie tv dramas

Doubt they'd accept $ here anyway

Watched the Disney version of Mulan a couple of months back, thought it was really good. Great soundtrack too.

What's the deal with spoilers here? Is it enough just to say Spoiler alert?
******SPOILER ALERT*******
petty observation and does'nt really distract from an otherwise decent movie but...
Daniel Craig's accent, which is decent for an Englishman I suppose, but for me it was just odd, in that the voice didn't easily fit the body, if that makes sense? I got over it quickly enough but it took a good few minutes.

the animated mulan still holds up

It has a great soundtrack outside of the musical numbers too
The scene where she runs off and takes her dads place and the battle scene in the mountains
Incredible score

It is a fun movie, but again, and I fully accept it might just be me typecasting the fella, the voice and the body don't immediately match.

Nope. The fact it doesnt come with Disney + which you pay £50 a year for already is outrageous. I hate the fact subscription services have additional premium content. Same goes for Sky Store frankly.
That said, £20 is a bargain for a family audience. Not having to risk a Covid infected cinema, no payment on overpriced popcorn, no costs on parking. £20 for a family of four or five people is a steal.
Rip off for people living at home alone like me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Completely agree.

Reading Mulan will be free on Disney plus after 3 months (Dec 4) think I'll just wait.
