Looks like it might be Cillesen

DM? Really, Robert.

I am no Scout so don't know who to go for but Cillesen doesn't instil me with confidence at all; in fact, the antipodean of confidence.

Have no idea who should replace DDG. Not a fan of Cillessen or Lloris.

Handanovic maybe

Red Cog, I always look for quotes. They're certainly in this article!

I can't confess to have ever watched a single FULL Erdivise game in my life. Why would I?

All I can judge him on was the World cup where he had both good moments and some not so good ones too.

He could be a potentially world class keeper for all I know though. Never seen him at club level.

Admittedly I've not seen much of him, but I like the look of Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid, Cillesen looks too lightweight to me, he'd get thrown around in the PL

Don't rate Cillessen at all.

I'll be piîssed if he's DDG's replacement. I'll be really piîssed if we get fleeced by them, which I have a feeling we will be.

Much rather go for lloris

Red Cog

Do you talk like a spoofer in real life too?

Ideally it would be Lloris. Throw £40 million at Spurs and see. Give them Hernandez as part of a deal.

We should offer Atletico a swap for DDG n Oblak just to piiiiisss off Real Madrid.

Dave gets to go home to the team he supports. His gf is happy. Atletico have won the title more recently than Real have so he wouldn't be joining a poor team either.

I think Atletico would probably go for it too. Would DDG though.

Lloris all day long. I think he is a superb keeper not far behind ddg IMO

Se85, been saying that for ages. Would be a hilarious way of getting ddg back to Madrid without Real winning.

You're entitled to your opinion but like I admitted, I have never watched the dutch league once.

You're basing your opinion on 6 world cup games aren't you?

Plenty of class players had poor world cups. Not saying he's class but not saying he's not either. Not seen enough of him really.

Petr Cech had a mare today. Doesn't make him a poor keeper.

Why can't Madrid tap up the likes of Courtois and Hazard instead of our lot

It wouldn't be that much money and Hernandez. Either big money on its own or less money and Hernandez.

As for the ddg comparison, of course his replacement will cost more than what we get. Someone like Lloris has a longer contract. Ddg has been running his down for ages and now we either get a small amount or nothing.

I think Hazard will be a Real Madrid player within next 2-3 years. Almost certain of it.

posted on 9/8/15

I like Hazard but he's a bit overrated. Has so many quiet games and could be so much more dynamic. Doesn't really score that many non penalty goals. If Bale ever came back to the PL Hazard would be a distant second to Bale in terms of excitement and dynamism

The SUN have linked us to Biglia.

lloris would be my choice also but

throw 40 mill at spurs robb just like that ?

Biglia is a midfielder so I call massive bs there. Last thing we need now is another midfielder.

posted on 9/8/15

Roo, depends on how much time we have left after ddg maybe goes and how stubborn Spurs are. It might take a few like that to get him. Maybe more. With todays inflated prices between PL clubs what might have once seemed obscene is now becoming the norm

Yep,very much out of left field to.

Makes little sense but then we do have LVG

posted on 9/8/15

LVG'S long term plan is to field 11 midfielders at once
