There's a few bands who do this a lot, can' think of any proper lyrics?

Bastille have done some great songs. Their cover version of Miley Cyrus's 'We Can't Stop' was something else.

When they do the "whoa wooo" bit before they start singing the lyrics annoys the life out of me.
I think you need to be heavily sedated to listen to the radio these days.

Perhaps they have been trained by the actors in Blackadder III?

'This Modern Love' is a brilliant song. I just couldn't get into the rest of the album. Lots of albums from this decade are like that for me.
Yeah, its a brilliant song, the best they've done IMO. Personally I loved the whole album though, so many good songs on it.
I also liked their second album, A Weekend In The City and they did a lot of fantastic B-sides too. From 2004-07ish they were a fantastic band both in the studio and especially live, but they dropped off a lot after that.

Can't stand Babyshambles or the Libertines.
By which I mean that I refuse to listen to them because Pete Doherty's face annoys me so much.

Oh, you did mention her - but the wrong album(s).
