Song writing is my thing. Love to see how artists approach song writing. Thats generally what, if given the opportunity, i would ask an artist about. Album wise, concept albums are ok. Some concept albums seem to be such only after looking at the tracks as a whole after the fact.

If that's the one with "Heartbeats" on it, I nearly mentioned that myself. Pretty good.

All of the Radiohead albums released during that decade are great. Pyramid Song is my favourite

Incredible record. "Codex" from King of Limbs is very similar, in its weirdly syncopated, awkward piano and haunting vocals. Love the horns in that song as well.

Saw Radiohead at the Greek Theatre in 98. Was so good. Still for all this talk about how brilliant their albums were i would have them low on my all time fave bands now. After growing musically I've become a bit bored with their sound. Prefer a lot of bands to them now.

Codex is Pyramid Song part two. I love listening to them back to back.

I dont think Radiohead has topped Kid A.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They topped it before they released it with OK Computer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ooo the age old OKC v Kid A debate
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its begun...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Right.

OK Computer for me is the superior album. But that's no disgrace for Kid A; I have not heard any album that genuinely challenges OK Computer for sheer originality and musical expertise. I have watched and loved the films of David Lynch, read, studied and taught the literature of Shakespeare, Larkin, T. S. Eliot, Dickens and many others; appreciated some of the great classical music. Honestly, none of those amaze me more than OK Computer - I simply cannot believe that human hands made it. It's as simple as that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------OK Computer is a great album, I've listened to it to death and saw Radiohead when the toured it, but I think that praise is a bit excessive. I've always felt it tails off toward the end with Lucky & The Tourist. You could argue that, for their time, albums like Pet Sounds, Sgt Pepper, Dark Side of the Moon or David Bowies Low we're equally as original and sonically brilliant. All opinions of course. Mine on Radiohead is that their best songs (Paranoid Android, Let Down, Karma Police) are on OK Computer, but their best album is In Rainbows as it is consistently brilliant from start to finish whereas OK Conputer has peaks & troughs. Saw them on the Kid A tour too, in the no logo tent. Great album, their 3rd best for me, Idioteque is amazing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

"Lucky" and "The Tourist" are two of the best songs on it!

"Karma Police" as always my favourite though. Mercilessly bitter lyrics but with an odd, ironic, even humorous twist, and the greatest fade-out of them all.

Tourist is, it winds the album down after some quite intense stuff.

I've seen them quite a few times - London, Manchester, Washington DC... I'm the opposite, in terms of getting bored of them. Admittedly, I don't listen to them as much as I did ten or fifteen years ago, but I never really got into another new band since them.
