Yeah, I'm looking at a Friday start so I can use 3 days to catch up. Keep trying to get game play tips off these comments but don't want spoilers.

Cannot wait.

Some none spoiler tips:

Trade with your companion to carry more weight

For more experience put at least 8 points in intelligence

Pick up glue and duct tape - this is the most important resource in the game, closely followed by aluminium cans at the start

When building don't scrap stuff you have built - store it.

Erm all i can think of atm

Have you still not found it Lefty? It was one of the first stalls I went to in Diamond City.

Done a few of the main missions around 4 or 5 but spend the majority on side quests. I go to do a main mission but i get distracted by other things which leads to more quests

no, given up.

Stayed away form home last night (work) so will probably give it a go tonight. Died a load of times trying to take the castle.

No Spoilers - so wont elaborate on details.

So I go into Diamond City...I've done the bloatfly gland mission for that bird in the Science school (I know, I dident need to do it).

I can see a doctor at the Chmical crafting table..he don;t say too much.

I've been to the doctor who does face reconstruction (where you walk in the door and go down the stairs), no option to heal, got a face;lift instead. Cheekbones raised, really brings out my eyes.

Whre am I going wrong.

Please if you are wumming me, you are succeeding...if not, I feel pretty thick.

Glad ive got that out of the way

I dont know if you are experiencing a glitch when you see the doctor lefty. Hes right near the circular bar on on the corner of one of the roads going down the right.
Try and google the location of the docotr, may have a map of diamond city

taken from google:

Or, entering from the main gate into the Diamond City Markets, turn right. There's an asian guy in a lab coat that is the Diamond City clinic

by the way when you press the button to talk to people they sometimes start talking for a few seconds before it brings up dialogue options so maybe this is what you are experiencing?

Also, sleeping heals btw.

Is there an option to just wait in this game without sleeping. you could do it in fallout 3 and new vegas but cant seem to do it in this one

SoG - Thanks. I may not be waiting long enough. As soon as they start talking, without giving options, I go.

Is that your town Simon very impressive.

Yeh, its quite funny though as i decided i wouldn't do any of it, and would ignore the quests, but then it was like watch a youtube video, and hen it was "oh i have got 10 minutes, wont do a quest, ill build a wall"

How do you get the house off the floor

posted on 19/11/15

The way i done it was built some walls and a roof, then some stairs and built a floor panel on the roof panels, then using video game logic i removed the lower level stuff and hey presto was left with a floating house, used the walk ways as stilts anc thy allowed more clipping sk gives quite a gooc affect. One building tip i have found are that fences clip very little and leave huge gaps but walls seem to clip a lot and allow a bit more freedom, they also snap to floors, walls and roof tiles
