anyone found anymore vaults yet? Ive just discovered my first one in ages and am about to go in and have an explore. Mind you almost got killed getting there thanks to a suprise attack by a deathclaw. I hate those things
I've been to V81, but they wont let me actually inside it yet
Apparently there's a special gun inside V111 if you go back to it with Dogmeat, and have him fetch it. Not sure where it is, or how accurate that is though!
If you're big on collecting then I suggest using http://fallouttracker.com/ that'll let you check off every time you get a collectible or rare weapon. It also hides the locations of them all if you're afraid of spoilers.
I've also heard that ...
<NOT SURE IF THIS COUNTS AS A SPOILER>
if you max out your S.P.E.C.I.A.L skills before you pick up certain bobbleheads, it means that your S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats can go to 11. so might be worth holding off picking up bobbleheads of the special skills and just making a note of where they are.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I went in there last night, but had to speak to someone before they let me in.
Spent a few hours in there doing some missions and speaking to people.
I've got the quest to get in, just need to grab the stuff they want first.
I was fortunate enough to already have it on me.
I found a new vault yesterday. Vault 114. I also found a Neverending double barreled shotgun. I spent most of the night just in that vault
So it seems my issue and that with most people is that the story (or side missions) doesnt really have any hooks. But thankfully it is such an amazing sandbox that this can be over looked, and i love just wondering around clearing areas etc.
Damn i need to find these vaults! Are they mission related? Or did you just find them?
I almost missed the vault... I was just randomly exploring somewhere and ended up in a tunnel/cave thing with a massive fvck off door in front of me. Almost missed it because I was looking at the floor for cans and other stuff.
Ok so im onboard, and still getting to grips with the minutemen missions. However my hopes that this game would have no op enemies was soon killed as i encountered a bug which apparently has AIDS as its stinger is contaminated with a blood poison. Got 2 shotted by that one. Was then chased nr the quarry by a stinging creature which is basically CAZADORES on roids!
Only good thing is the game seemingly has no steroids.
steroids *Scorpions on steroids.
Scorpions on steroids.
.......
Hmmmmmm😀
I hate those insects by the way
Welcome to the waste land mike
Just remember L1 is your friend.......and your buddy doesn't die so feel free to "sacrifice" them
Talking of vats, don't always go for headshots, shot legs to slow fast enemies or stingers.....

Yeah i do the same espcially with the harder ghouls. Blow their legs off to slow them down considerably
Im way behind you guys i just killed that mirelurk queen and her spawn and am trying to get the cursed radio beacon powered up.
I am level 9 so am still easy to kill, which made attempting to clear out the quarry impossible for now. Does anyone know what level u ned to be to actually compete with beasts such as mireluck hunter et al. Feel as if im just running away all the time.

you killed it at level 9 i struggled with that at level 13. I recommend levelling up a bit more by doing a lot of the side quests then you'll find it easier to kill the harder enemies
I was lvl19 when I took her down. Involved lots of running away and snipping.
Done about 5 missions and spend god knows how many hours scouring the wasteland for scrap and building up bases.
Do a crap ton of side quests. Explore a bunch of places (like caves, abandoned subways, etc) because not only are there things like magazines and bobbleheads in some of those places, you also unlock them for fast travel once everyone is dead.
I fecking hate bloatflies. I can never hit them without VATs, they just move too quickly
Another good way for some relatively easy levels is to do a bunch of work in your settlements.

Yep. That's what I've done. Didn't realise building stuff gave you xp until I'd got to the Starlight Drive-In.
Also, can't remember if this has been mentioned in this article yet. Every time you come to a terminal, safe or chest that you can't open, take a screenshot of it, the area, and maybe write a short description like 'Inside V114, near end' or something. Also screenshot where it is on the map if it's outside.
That way, once you've got higher skills you can come back for free loot. Then just delete/move the screenshots once you've opened the container

Yeah, and if you do that, then take Piper with you. She loves that sh!t
I need to spend a day sorting my settlements. I have done the bare minimum so far as I get too easily distracted and end up exploring.
I played on Fallout for 3 hours last night and didn't even do a mission. Just cleared out a load of random buildings. I have Curie as my companion at the moment. I don't know if anyone has unlocked her.
I have Piper as my companion, but Garvey follows me around all the time anyway. Helpful, but the pr!ck keeps talking to me mid battle.
