I am currently unemployed; maybe I've been barking up the wrong tree all these years...

You wouldn't be able to convince me that the EU administration has some sort of malevolent masterplan, carefully crafted to brainwash, homogenise and neuter the masses, no.

I'd never argue the EU is perfect; in my eyes, it's far from it. But it's not a cancer, it's not inherently wasteful, and it's not a failed experiment. To me, for all its ills - which can and should be challenged and addressed - it's a still fairly young, genuine attempt to bring a continent of countries with a dangerously divided and bloody history together to try to meet common goals.

And it has already become a very powerful and well-respected political entity in its influence, a uniting force, and a successful trading bloc. It would survive and, in my opinion, continue to prosper without the UK.

And in purely selfish terms, it will make little difference to me, as I no longer live in Britain (as of last month). But my family and many of my friends do, and I'd rather the country continued to reap what I see as a net positive benefit from continuing membership.

Smacks of hypocrisy to me when you quote recessions, worst security etc which all these so called experts say will happen if we leave. So do you believe them or are you an expert in your own field?

You don't need to be an expert to assess what's already happening.

Sterling has taken a battering, UK businesses and external investors are already hedging against Brexit, and the flow of new capital into the UK has completely stalled in anticipation of a leave vote.

You don't need a crystal ball: we are already feeling the negative effects of the increased likelihood of a *potential* vote to leave.
