TBAB, unemployment rates are at the levels seen before the 2008 crash (under 5%) which are some of the lowest since records began.
The SC case is to ensure correct application of existing law, not to prosecute anyone as you are suggesting. Sadly it's not illegal for politicians to lie (remember the £350m bus slogan for instance?).

Mr Farage refrained from the insults and proposed real straetgies - Mr Self spent the hour trying to garner applause from the ultr-liberals
Trust you to enjoy the one panelist who pandered to that - chortle
Morning all
Rather than listen to partisan political rhetoric, I think it would serve the public better to examine the actual evidence. In this instance migration figures.
When the likes of Farage (QT’s most popular guest) spout figures of 650,000 entering the UK. He doesn’t give it any context. As if he did, the public would find out the truth.
Current net migration is actually 335k. Of which 189k are from the EU. There were 41k asylum applications, and 167k (non EU) university study visa applications.
Of the total amount of migrants entering the UK only 163k stayed for over twelve months. The government continually state they want a “fair and controlled immigration policy” and want immigration to fall to “sustainable levels.” Yet there were actually larger numbers of EU immigrants entering the UK in 2006 than at present.
It’s no coindince that as migrants are here to work, (and pay tax) the economy has grown significantly.
The question for the government is do they prioritise immigration control, or the economy. As I see it they can’t do both.
Tbf, the electorate were told the economy would suffer and they made it quite clear that they don't give a sh-t.

Not sure why Farage was on QT to be honest. After a fairly horrific few weeks, I thought Ukip would want to get Nuttall on. If anything to boost his profile. Farage is a busted flush. By his own admission he wants to step down from politics, (although the taxpayer is still paying him for doing nothing).
PS Did anyone see Aaron Bank’s (Ukip’s donor) exchange with Mary Beard on Twitter?
He had alleged the fall of the Roman empire was due to immigrants. He was challenged by Mary Beard, (a Cambridge Uni classicist/authority on Romans) that this was complete nonsense. Nonetheless he tried to defend his view based on his schooling (from 40yrs ago) and that he had seen the film Gladiator
WWSPD, you're forgetting that truth and facts are irrelevant in politics these days.
What we really need is a Government Ministry of Truth (let's call it Minitrue for short).
Ignorance is Strength.
I've always envied truly stupid people - life must be a breeze for them, not a care in the world.

Because he was the catalyst for Brexit and is the only political figure associating with the US president elect.
Like him or loathe him, the man has been one of the most influential politicians of a generation.
Bit strange why you'd question it really.

“was” being the operative word.
I wouldn’t consider Farage a politician, more of an activist. He has repeatedly failed hand lied to his electorate. His entire career was based on a single policy.
Depite completely dissociating himself from Trump, (after pu$$ygate) he came crawling back after Trump won the election. Nigel Farage, the econmic migrant…
I agree however his influence however cannot be ignored. Yet being influential is not particularly righteous when you encourage divisiveness, and have manipulated millions of people using fear and xenophobia.

which has yet to come to fruition.
With regards to xenophobia and divisiveness, It all depends on your point of view.
You might argue that controlled immigration is xenophobic.
I would argue that preferential treatment of Europeans over other continental citizens is a form of racism.
Its all a matter of opinion and if some of you had your way, the likes
of farage and co wouldn't be allowed to speak
which is not in keeping with our free speech
Fairly sure not a single person has even suggested that Farage shouldn't be allowed to speak - a lot of people say he should be ignored, but that's completely different.
It's important for the crazies to build up a persecution complex so they can argue the man is trying to shut them up and silence the truth...
It is what the 'experts' do with their 'facts'
Look at poor Aaron being picked on by that nasty expert when he was pointing out things about the Roman Empire.
