Reason I say Bono is a pwick is he grew up about 2 miles from me yet claimed he came from 3 miles away, doesn't sound like much of a difference but it is huge. He's a great man for spouting on about injustices but he never mentions his home, could be the reason he pays zero tax. He spouts on about social injustices, once they are abroad, not at home.
Oh shiiiiiiit that one mile.

Couldn't really care about Bono on his quest for global musical domination.. that's his business, as it is Chris Martins. Was Cliff Richards before them.
I only care about genuine music sung by genuine artists who don't just care about perfect timing or pop rhythms.
As much as Michael Jackson fell into that, he had genuine creativity and class about him, and didn't just care about selling out to grannies or Apple.

Exactly, doesn't sound like much but in his early days he claimed to be from a working class tough area but he never, the opposite in fact

Freddy, who Paul Rodgers certainly never did replace, and Kate Bush,
Nick Cave and PJ Harvey.............are you serious man. What a pathetic attempt at music, a fackin souless boring dirge of a song by two talentless fackwits.

Freddie Mercury. He could sing any style of music. Even mixed it up with opera in Barcelona.....
As for females, my favourite is Whitney Houston. So clean and powerful. At least until the nobhead Bobby Brown got hold of her.
Richard Harris.
I don't think that I can take it

Glenn Hodddle. Diamond Lights fecking magnificent.
Not necessarily the greatest singer of all time, but I've always said if I could sing well, I'd like to be able to sing / sound like Chris Cornell...
Also have to mention Maynard James Keenan, odd character but an amazing voice
Elle a Fitzgerald.
As Frank Sinatra once said "There's Ella, then the rest of us".
