Parky must have a long list of players from League One who played agains us, and impressed, and want to have a go in the championship.
Making the draft pick list is easy for little Lee he just writes down are they available for free the next part of the criteria to help slim down the list will be their wages with those two criteria bits done we should have a shortlist to hand PP how he picks from then onwards is anybody's guess it could be eanie meanie etc.
I just hope there is the requirement to fast track an Alex or two into the first team
Bolton linked with osasuna striker kenan kodro. Available for £1.5 million and keen on a move to England
£1.5 million Benny are you trying to give Ken a heart attack.😉
Patricia has just slammed the purse firmly shut thanks to Benny and Lee is crying in the corner as its his pocket money day.
Another day another court appearance Ken will no doubt smile and get an adjournment in order to juggle to the loose change until the money tree has a decent crop on it.
What a surprise it was adjourned until to 12th June
Next time Ken will go with he thought it meant the 12th of never.
Although not football related, My thoughts and sympathy goes out to the people who died, those who were injured and the families and friends of those who were involved in last nights terror attack at the Manchester Arena. .
Work in Manchester, well Trafford park. Everyone's been quiet today, staff, customers. Felt numb most of the day. This could happen anywhere. Football match even.
Terrible news,I have no words My thoughts go to there families ,
I see Big Sam has retired from football management. He wants to travel and spend more time with his family.
Happy retirement Sam. Enjoy.
Yes well done Big Sam no use having all that money and not enjoying it.
You can now get a season ticket for BWFC.😉
Karacan confirmed as the first signing.
That's good news Benny. We just need to secure the spine of the team now and the rest will follow.
We shouldn't sign anyone unless performance related and they are able to play a full season without going into the sick bay.🤔
Wheater was the prime example.
Andy Taylor has signed a two year contract. things are moving in a positive direction.
Hopefully another payment triggered for holding getting a cup winners medal.
We need to re-sign David Wheater before some other club comes looking. I'm sure there will be suitors looking at him after his successful season in league 1.
If we can satisfy his wage demands, I would think we have a good chance but the sooner we get him under contract the better.
Took a chance on wheater and it paid off. Was so injury proneand maybe again. Don't think he is worth breaking the wage structure for him. Beevers need to extend his contract as we don't want to be in this position next summer and risk him going on a free as he will attract attention from other clubs in the championship. Need to think long term. Holding. He's a £10million player at least. Criminal we let him go for a pittance. We could all see how good he was and could be yet took the first offer.
Unfortunately that's what happens when you are pot less and struggling to meet the tax man's demands. We aren't out of the woods yet.
As for Wheater, I would take a gamble on him if his wage demands fall in line with what the club can afford. He's had a reasonably injury free season.
Bradford and Fleetwood have players including centre backs, full backs out of contract 2017, both teams were decent defensively shop around.
I would take a chance on Wheater if his wage demands are reasonable. Him and Beevers formed a formidable partnership and I wouldn't want to split that up unless we absolutely had to.
The time has come for me to finally fly away to pastures new.
My visit back to Blighty started very well with promotion and a Macron party but ends on a very sad note with the events of last Monday night this little Olde England gets more depressing each time I return. It's now over to those of you staying behind to sort out the general election. I have my map which looks remarkably like a piece of sandpaper the jet is fuelled Jeeves has gone on ahead for hand over training to learn to drive a Jeep rather than the Rolls.
Should I try to schedule my next trip for next seasons final game and hope we can repeat it with another promotion ? Once I get wherever and the sat comms up and running I'll try and get back to some sort of normal.
Tell me, Pasty, what is normal?
Happy travels
