Tis a shame KFC doesn't show the same outrage when non-Muslims are killed. He only seems to become vocal when someone attacks his religion. He's a racist full stop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a downright lie as part of an ongoing character assassination on behalf of a few users on this site of another user.
I have spent hours speaking to KFC, and while we have been in total disagreement on many issues, he is definitely not what some of you insist on painting him as.
It makes me wonder what your own true agenda is.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He fecking is, he's an Isis apologist, any condemnation he makes is faux to cover his real feelings. I honestly don't believe he feels an iota of sympathy for anyone who isn't Muslim. He's a sick man.

Funny how several people have now called him out for this.
His hatred of the west and Israel comes through in his posts.
Glad it's not just me who sees this.

And how would you know that - do you have psychic powers?
I'd echo Arthur Johnson's post, I find KFC quite a pleasant person to debate with, even if I'm disagreeing with his conclusions. I've not seen any evidence that he's a racist.
AlasS&J & Loz,
KFC's problem (imo) in the past has been that in the immediate aftermath of Islamist terror attacks, he's tried to speak out for the community he identifies with and against the injustices they've undeniably suffered, and a lot of people have wrongly taken that to mean he sanctions terror attacks. Some folk, once they've made their mind up on an issue, will simply not back down or listen to anyone supporting other views. KFC, time and again, endlessly, has condemned these terror attacks and distanced himself from the perpetrators; he's given all length of explanations as to why he does he does not view these people as Muslims; he's given his vision of why he believes true Islam rejects violence.
But some people, once they've made their minds up, they just don't want to know or hear or listen.
I honestly, sincerely doubt either of you have spent the time I've spent discussing stuff with KFC, or rosso who spoke out in his favour earlier, or BrightDave, who isn't around today, or even atheist apologist Galv or DUP hardliner tbbab ... and while we all disagree with KFC to varying extents on different issues, I'd be surprised if any of those guys with all kinds of views but with a better knowledge of the person they're speaking to consider him to hold those views you're pinning on him.
Loz, we won't agree on a lot of things I'm sure, but recently we've come across each other a bit more often and I think we've begun to understand each other. Hopefully you'll know by now at least that I'm not some hard-nut extremist of any kind, I don't have any kind of hidden agenda to want to stick my neck out for KFC other than the fact that from the hours I've spent talking to him, I think he's a fundamenytally decent guy.

Religion with KFC is like playing top trumps. If anyones brings up the mistreatment of another creed by Muslims (Yazidi people for example) he'll find something to top it.
I always found KFC to be a bit of a bell but just from football threads, nothing to do with politics or religion.

After every one of these attacks, political leaders and community leaders all come out with the line "the terrorists won't win"

Then of course there's the threat level-ometer which goes up and down like a hotel lift on a daily basis
Not only are the terrorists achieving their aims, they along with the mainstream media are creating an air of panic to boot
People see things on tv and maybe if they're a bit unhinged, are encouraged to go and give it a try themselves
In my limited experience he isn't very pleasant and seems very intent on creating an us and them environment
Regarding Kung Fu, I don't hate the guy. He's been passionate and knows his stuff to a certain extent. There are worse people on here like Deadinthehead
I'm hopefully off to Israel early next year so it will be interesting to chat with Kung Fu about his preconceptions etc

I couldn't have put this any better.
KFC must have spent literally hours and hours of his life typing out essay after essay published on here condemning violent acts of all kinds, decrying the acts and objectives of Islamist extremists, and explaining how their acts are fundamentally un-Islamic.
He gets defensive when some of his views and his motives are questioned, and could sometimes respond in a more tempered manner when this happens; it's not always insensible or unfair to question people's logic or their beliefs.
But I don't think he's the only person in history to feel like they've had to go out of their way to defend their own minority community when it has come under fire. He has also unquestionably been subject to some very personal and, in my mind, unwarranted attacks.
An 'ISIS sympathiser' or 'apologist', for example, he certainly is not. He's made his feelings about random attacks of violence against civilians very, very clear indeed, and to label him as such is grossly unjust.

Anyone who compares our troops, and the ethical code they adhere to, to ISIS fighters who burn people alive and throw g@ys off buildings, is totally unhinged in my eyes.

there were ALOT of people very vocal in their support of that Marine A guy.
Not much of an ethical code there, and i'm sure that is far from a one off.
Once again though, that goes into the "Mentally unsound" folder instead of pyscho with a gun who just likes killing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I couldn't have put this any better.

Dude if that's how he comes across to you then that's that, me I have a different opinion of him.
We all have different opinions about things, it's all gravy 👍

Fair enough mate, thanks for listening all the same.

I can't stand the guy,and that's one of the reasons I filtered the clown.

Probably best for all . Never filtered anyone myself, though RDD will probably be shuffed to know he's had my finger close to the button a couple of times.

Any man who has struggled through threads featuring the pearls of witlessness deposited by any of Stretty, Vishnu or RDD yet still resisted the itch of the trigger finger is a better man than I.

Filtering isn't permananent, consider it a holiday from a particular idiot, who's just being a nob!

Anyone who compares our troops, and the ethical code they adhere to, to ISIS fighters who burn people alive and throw g@ys off buildings, is totally unhinged in my eyes.

I've filtered 3 people, and it's all been because of religion. I should stay away from these types of threads, but once I have a nose, I get agitated and jump in. If I could filter certain subjects I would.

there were ALOT of people very vocal in their support of that Marine A guy.
Not much of an ethical code there, and i'm sure that is far from a one off.
Once again though, that goes into the "Mentally unsound" folder instead of pyscho with a gun who just likes killing.
